But it wasn't easy for the founder Mark Zuckerberg as he was sued by Winklevoss twins, Cameron and Tyler Divya Narendra
claiming he stole their idea it was settled in 2008
in 2008 it had reached 1oo million users it went public in February 1 2012

A long time ago — in the 1990s — a Nigerian man named Emmanuel Nwude pulled off one of the biggest scams in history and get a a lot of money

He pretended to be the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria a very important person to make it more believable. He contacted a big bank in Brazil called Brazil Banco .He told them they could invest in this new “Abuja airport project” and make a lot of profit when it was finished. Between 1995 and 1998, they sent him about $242 million — yes, two hundred and forty-two million dollars — for the “airport project wow .
In 1997, another bank wanted to buy Banco Noroest During the checks, they found that a lot of money was missing and sitting in secret accounts in places like the Cayman Islands. They discovered
that there is no Airport this was discovered in 1997-1999 and there was an investigation he was arrested in 2004 and in 25 pleaded guilty
