The 30 Second Elevator Pitch

Cycleboredom is dedicated to the life and culture surrounding bikes. The boredom moniker originates from a desire to do things myself and do them in a way deviating from the status quo. I'm essentially broadcasting my bike life through an intense and multifaceted social media campaign supported by creatively driven original content, dynamic reviews, and carefully selected posts all presented in a visually intriguing package. Bike Life: the latest gear, industry idiocy, cyclocross (lots of cyclocross!), pro cycling, velo-utilitarianism, and advocacy. Sound like something you want to be a part of? Let's talk!

F**k it, there’s no reason to fight this any longer—IT’S TIME TO EMBRACE THE SCOPE CREEP.

Time to turn one of my greatest challenges into a lethally unfair advantage 😈

Join me in this completely unplanned, but not entirely unexpected new series of posts, where I explore archived footage from a period when I actually participated in capturing live cyclocross contests, and provide insight into the how and why of my process, what I learned, and what I’m planning now.

Additionally, if I can remember the details, I’ll provide the all important contextual lore.

This is heavily overlapping a series I’ve been planning for ages, but it’s time to let this s**t fly. Thinking this feels like a mashup between those “Cyclocross Nostalgia” Reels I did back in ‘22 with a planned future series I called “VOD Review”. In addition to discussing the technical & creative decisions, here will definitely be a lot of neurodegenerate injections into the mix because ADHD has shaped everything I’ve done.

This part-vlog, part-POV “What I See” photo session was shot back in March 2025!!

Neither of them could hold their own, so I mashed them together as best I could, working on the edit sporadically until I finally forced myself to post something—*anything* after a year of this s**t.

I was trying to figure out a workflow (still am 😅) for combining the DJI A4/A5 shooting passively, with the Ricoh GRXIII snaps, and my iPhone Pro Max 17 (14 PM in this video) stills and videos. Mostly I’m yapping to myself about all kinds of s**t, but the POV shoot was emulating the style of two creators I had attended ’s“Time To Build” cohort with, and .granitto

As you can see, there were complications. 😭

Anyway, I spent a ton of time on this, and it’s still a trainwreck, but I like it enough to put it out there.

Been grinding hard on the backend (phrasing?💀) here at BRDM Centraal, laying the groundwork for insightful, well-developed Content™.

This post, however, is not indicative of that focus.

This is pure slop. But, it’s the *purest* slop of all. I mean, just LOOK at the results of my past 6 months editing on DaVinci Resolve! It really is all about color grading with DR. I mean, this edit alone got 67 nodes, my G.
