Following my two fun runs at great oaks and Indian hills, my crazy week of gigs came to an end today as I participated in the Worlds of wonder special needs expo for the 3rd year in a row held again at the MISD (Macomb intermediate school district) building on hall road and Garfield. Different setup than the years before as I played two half hour shifts inside the big white tent outside between magic shows with my good friend Mark Luedtke alongside his partner Alton Litzer as well as having an table in the expo room like last year. With another gorgeous day out there today (probably the best weather this expo ever had) and the biggest crowd in expo history on hand, I made the best of the time that I had and thrilled everyone in attendance with my fun mix of music during both half hour shifts with the 2nd shift being the best. Popular songs included: Cha Cha slide, any kpop demon hunters songs, party in the USA, APT, dancing queen, don't stop believing, among many others. I'd like to thank everyone at MISD for having me again and to all who attended especially all of you that got my card and followed me here on FB. Speaking of that, I actually got an instant gig out of this which will be a one year old bday party on Saturday November 15 to be held at Van Hoousen Farm in Rochester. I've never been there let alone play there and been wanting to visit there and get to do that and also do a gig as well so I'm very excited about that. Til then my next gig is this Wednesday at Amanda Moore for their fall festival.

After yesterdays fun run or should I say Grizzly Gallop for Great Oaks, I djd my 2nd and final fun run of the season today at Indian Hills Elementary in Romeo. With absolutely gorgeous weather for a fall September day and another great crowd of students and parents on hand, I electrified them with another dynamite performance as everyone in attendance got down and danced and sang to my great fun mix of music. Popular songs included: all line dances, all KPop demon warrior songs (the kids love it!), 67, chicken banana, bye bye bye, party in the USA, among many MANY others. I'd like to thank everyone at Indian hills for their never ending support and DJing their fun runs for 16 years now. I'll be returning for next year's fun run on 9-25-26. I'm off to see Lainey Wilson tonight at pine k**b and then off to my last gig of the week tomorrow which will be the worlds of wonder special needs expo at MISD DJing it for the 3rd year in a row.

After last Saturdays charity Co****le tournament for lasting impact ministry in Romeo, I djd the first of my 2 fun runs this week today at Great Oaks elementary an Anchor Bay School District school that happened to call their fun run the Grizzly Gallop. With this being my first gig of the school year and great weather and awesome kids on hand, I opened the school year and a short fun run season with a bang as I delivered another spectacular performance and everyone in attendance, students teachers and volunteers, enjoying my great mix of music. Popular songs included: all line dances, all songs from kpop demon hunters (EXTREMELY popular), 67, any Taylor swift, party in the USA, chicken banana, any Chappelle roam, among many others. I'd like to thank everyone at great oaks for another great show and for all their support. I'm happy to announce that for the 3rd year in a row, I'll be DJing the Halloween dance at St John's church in Romeo on Sunday October 26. The last ones have been great and hope the same for this year's dance. Til then I'm DJing my 2nd and sadly final fun run of the season tomorrow for Indian Hills.

I finally ended one of my longest breaks between gigs today as I got to DJ the Lasting Impact Ministry co****le fundraiser held at the Romeo Lions fieldhouse playing there for the first time since last year's St. Baldrick's. With gorgeous weather for the last official day of Summer and a great turnout for this first time event, I blessed them all with an awe-inspiring performance as I spread the word of the Lord through Christian music which was mostly all I played with a couple kid songs tossed in. Everyone enjoyed my great mix of Christian music which insisted of Christian pop (especially Forest Frank), country, rock (had to sneak some Stryper in), rap and adult contemporary. I'd like to thank Elizabeth and everyone at Lasting Impact for having me DJ this event for them and from the looks and sounds of it, I might be the permanent DJ for this event in future years. I now have a busy gig week next week as I DJ 2 fun runs one on Thursday for Great Oaks (It's called grizzly gallop for them) and Friday for Indian Hills followed by the special needs expo for the 3rd year in a row Saturday at MISD.

Hello again everyone. Zak Atak here with another update. Sorry for the lack of posts after the Lutz gig as I've been on my longest break between gigs in quite a while. I had a fun bday month but I'm itching to get bak to action. My next gig will be a co****le tournament fundraiser two weeks from tomorrow for Lasting Impact Ministry to be held at the Romeo Lions club field which will be my first time playing there since last year's St. Baldrick's. I'm very excited to DJ this event and to be DJing again overall. With schools back in session, I'm ready to be busy again.

Just days before my 37th birthday and after the surprise 50th wedding anniversary party I DJ'd a few weeks ago, I got to DJ the Lutz School completer ceremony once again this past Thursday held at Villa Penna. With another great crowd on hand of staff, MISD dignitaries and completers with their families, I helped them celebrate this special occasion by delivering yet another spectacular performance with everyone having a blast with my great mix of music. Popular songs included: All line dances (Including Wobble), Bye Bye Bye, APT, Hot to Go, Love Shack, Jump Around, Party in the USA, among many others. I'd like to thank everyone at Lutz for having me DJ this event for them again and to Villa Penna for being a great host venue again as well. I'm celebrating my 37th bday today by going to a drag race with my brother at Milan Dragway and I'm on break until September 20th.

After I DJ'd my fianl grad party of the season last Saturday, I DJ'd a Surprise 50th anniversary party yesterday in Rochester for a couple named Richard and Cathy who are the parents of Kelly Youngblood a long time Atak customer and Atak Army member with Bayside Yacht Club. With great weather (Until the end of the night when we ended early when a rainstorm came before 11) and a terrific packed crowd on hand, we surprised the happy couple with this party and more importantly I surprised them by putting on another dynamite performance and my great mix of music helped made their special surprise more special. There was great outdoor activities and even a 360 photo booth setup in front of me (didn't get a pic on there sadly I was too busy shoutout to Full Circle Photos). Popular songs included: All line dances, Die with a smile, the Wedding Song, Friends in low places, Man! I Feel like a woman, Love Shack, Don't Stop Believin', Sweet Caroline, among many others. I'd like to thank Kelly for having me DJ this event for her parents and to everyone who attended. I'm off again til August 7th when I once again DJ Lutz School's completer ceremony at Villa Penna.

I was bak in action today following a near month break as I DJ'd my 2nd (and as of now final) grad party of the season for a young lady named Tiffany Piro (the granddaughter of one of my dad's old co workers Joe Piro) held at the Mt Clemens FOE 1269. With beautiful weather and a great crowd on hand, I delighted everyone in attendance and helped make Tiffany's day even more special by delivering yet another dynamite performance as I provided a great mix of pop, country, and a little bit of rock and oldies. Didn't tape much as it was more of a laid back grad party, especially more laid back than the last one I did last month, but everyone did enjoy my music and bounced and sang a bit throughout the afternoon. I'd like to thank Tiffany, her parents, and her grandparents for hiring me to DJ this event and hoped that she and everyone in attendance enjoyed it as much as I did DJing and also thanks to the Eagles lodge in Mt. Clemens for being a great host venue. I'm also happy to announce that I'll be DJing a fundraising event for a church in Romeo to be held at the Romeo Lions Club on 9-20. Til then, I will be DJing a private party next Saturday night.

I finally got to DJ my first grad party of the season yesterday and it was for a set of twins Aleyse and Mitchell 2 fellow Romeo High School Grads. I've done parties for this fam (Fouts) before and they've always been great and this one was no exception. With beautiful but scorching weather and a packed and terrific crowd, I turned up the heat with another spectacular performance with everyone having a wonderful time. It was definitely an eclectic mix of music with rock, country, pop, and rap dominating the evening. Popular songs included: All line dances, Save a horse ride a cowboy, TV Off, Party in the USA, Baby got back, Friends in low places, Country girl, Get Low, Don't stop believin, among many MANY others. After ending the school year last week at Amanda Moore's field day, I DJ'd a summer party for Wynstone North subdivision in Oakland Township yesterday. Even with a little sprinkle of rain throughout the night, it didn't dampen the spirits of the families in attendance as they enjoyed great activities like the pool and games, had great food from the shaved ice and hot dog trucks, and more importantly got to see another fantastic performance by me as I delivered a great mix of songs that got both parents and kids dancing and singing along. Popular songs included: All line dances, Any taylor, Party in the USA, Sweet Caroline, Not Like Us, Any country, among many others. I'd like thank Megan and all at Wynstone north for having me DJ this event and by the looks and sounds of it, I hope to DJ a lot more events at this Subdivision in the future. My next gig was scheduled to be a Special Needs prom next Friday in Davison but they moved it to Thursday the 26th so now I'm resting up for my first (and as of now sadly only) grad party of the summer next Saturday.

Following last week's birthday party for Amiyah, I DJ'd my last gig of the school year yesterday which, just like last year, was for Amanda Moore Elementary School's Field day DJing it for the 2nd year in a row. With beautiful and more importantly cooler weather than last year when it was 90 and humid (and got sunburnt to death) and with a great group of students on hand, I ended the school year with a bang as I delivered yet another terrific show with everyone enjoying my great mix of music that I provided to soundtrack a great day. Popular songs included: All line dances, any taylor Swift, Fein, Thic of it, Party in the usa, Any Chappell Roan, Any Kendrick lamar, among many others. I'd like to thank Amanda Moore for having me DJ field day for them again this year. I'd also like to say thanks to all the schools and districts I DJ'd for this school year like Almont, Fraser, Fitzgerald, Utica, Northville, Anchor Bay, and of course Romeo. I hope everyone has a great Summer and see you all in the fall. But til then, I got a sub party to DJ on Friday.
