My triple threat birthday gig weekend came to a triumphant end yesterday as I DJd Toni-Lynn and Ben Iwen's wedding reception held at DiCicco's Lounge and Poker Room. I've been friends with the Dicicco family for over 30 years as Toni's mom Jeannie was my first special needs teacher at Washington elementary and have done lots of events for then throughout the years and was full circle djing Toni-Lynn's wedding as I also DJd her grad party (plus her 2 sisters' grads as well). With a packed crowd on hand, I helped ring in the new marriage as I electrified them all with a phenomenal performance at one of if not the best gig of the year. I haven't DJd a wedding a long time and this was just an awesome one to do especially with the long time connection with the Dicicco family. Popular songs included: all line dances, hips don't lie, proud Mary, don't you want me, smack that, any Nelly, any slow, among many MANY others. I'd like to thank Toni-Lynn for having me DJ her wedding and to her entire family for their never ending love and support over the years and was awesome to help me celebrate my bday when it turned midnight. When it comes to gigs my next one just so happens to be another wedding set for 9-12 but right now I've got to get ready to see an Indy wrestling show on my bday.

After djing the Lutz completer ceremony on Thursday, my triple threat birthday gig weekend continued last night at my final grad party this season for a young lady named Taylor that was held at the Italian american cultural center in Clinton township. With a great crowd on hand to help Taylor celebrate this special occasion, I added to the festivities as I delivered yet another wonderful performance with everyone enjoying my great mix of music especially for all the kids in attendance. Popular songs included: all line dances, any kpop demon hunters, any Michael Jackson, only me when I'm dancing, low, shake it off, among many others. I'd like to thank Taylors parents Brandon and Nikki for having me DJ their daughter's grad party and hope that I made her special occasion more special with my fun music I played throughout the night. Now I've got a wedding to dj today for long time Atak friend Toni-Lynn dicicco.

After my 2 shows at Westview Lower Elementary two Thursdays in a row, I kicked off my triple threat birthday weekend of gigs yesterday as I DJd the completer ceremony once again for Lutz School for Work Experience held at Villa Penna. With another wonderful crowd of completers and their families on hand alongside Lutz staff, I helped them celebrate in high style as I delivered yet another spectacular performance with everyone enjoying my great mix of music throughout the night. Popular songs included: all line dances, golden, everybody (backstreets back), old time rock and roll, billie jean, party in the USA among others. I'd like to thank Nick and everyone at Lutz for having me DJ this terrific event once again and to all the completers for letting me be a small part of their special day. Now I've got a grad party tonight to get ready for.

After playing their summer school color run last week, I returned to Westview Lower Elementary today this time to play their summer school foam party. With me setup away from the foam by the playground and the same group of excitable kids, I heated them up on this hot day by providing another terrific performance as everyone enjoyed my great mix of music including those I didn't get to play last week. Popular songs included: All line dances, any Michael Jackson (including Chicago a deep cut from his 2014 posthumous album Xscape which I was stunned the kids knew it as a huge mj fan), bang bang, any kpop demon hunters, 67, sea lion, tiki tiki, any katseye, among many others. I'd like to thank everyone at Westview for having me play these last two Thursdays and had a fun time djing them and hoped the kids and staff loved it as well. My next gig is at Lutz's completer ceremony next Thursday august 6. Now if you excuse me, I've got another AEW show in Detroit tonight to get ready for.

Following a month off following my gig at wynstone subdivision, I finally was back in action today for the first of two shows at Westview Lower Elementary for their summer school color run. I've never done a summer school gig before so I was excited. With hot but beautiful weather and a wonderful group of students and staff on hand, I shook off my gig rust by playing a fun mix of music for everyone on hand that got em all dancing and singing. Popular songs included: all line dances, any Michael Jackson, 67, sea lion, who let the dogs out, chicken banana, any katseye, any kpop demon hunters among others. I'd like to thank Westview for having me DJ this event and can't wait to come back next Thursday to dj your summer school foam party.

Hello again everyone. The Atak is here with another update for you. Been one of the slowest summers in my career but I'm happy to announce two new gigs on July 23 and 30 and those will be color runs summer school for Westview lower elementary. I've done their valentine's dances for them the last 3 years so I'm happy that I'm doing my first outdoor show for them. Just booked them today and they softened the blow of losing my John Mellencamp concert because of Canada. I'm also booked for a private party on September 18 and the MISD expo on September 26. Even though I'm on break, still booking gigs.

Following my first grad party of the summer last Saturday, yesterday I DJd the start of summer party at the Wynstone north sub in Rochester for the 2nd year in a row. With beautiful weather and unlike last year no rain and a wonderful crowd on hand, I officially welcomed summer with a sonic boom as I delivered yet another dynamite performance with everyone enjoying the pool at the clubhouse and more importantly my music being the perfect backdrop for this event. Popular songs included: all line dances, any kpop demon hunters, roar, who let the dogs out, timber, among many others. I'd like to thank Meagan and all at wynstone north for having me again for this event and to those who attended. I'm off until August 7 which is my next grad party.

After the open house at milestones autism center this past Friday, I DJd my first grad party of the season yesterday for twin sisters Addie and Bella. With beautiful but scorching weather and a great crowd on hand, i opened my short season of Grad parties in high fashion as I delivered another delightful performance with my music providing a perfect backdrop to a chill day with everyone enjoying my fun mix of music. Not a lot of dancing but they still loved my music and got some interesting requests including for one of my fave prince deep cuts Partyman which I pump up to before gigs and some rap to end the night. I'd like to thank Natalie and everyone for having me DJ Addie and Bella's party and I hope that my music made their special day more special. I don't have another grad party til august but Im DJing the summer party at Wynstone subdivision this Saturday.

Following last week's field days, I DJd an open house today for Milestones Autism Center in Romeo. With beautiful weather and a wonderful crowd on hand, i delighted them all as I delivered yet another ataktacular performance with my music being the perfect soundtrack to a fun day with food trucks, a photo booth, and costumed characters Elmo and bluey to charm the crowd. Popular songs included: all line dances, any kpop demon hunters, church clap, you belong with me, who let the dogs out among others. Unfortunately, with a policy similar to Glenn peters, I wasn't allowed to take any photos or videos of this event but rest assured it was a fun time. Thanks to all at milestones autism center for having me for the first time ever and from the looks and sounds of it I'll be likely to dj more for them in the future. Til then, my first grad party of the season is tomorrow.

Following the field day for great oaks on Tuesday, I DJd my final field day of the season and more importantly the final show of the 25-26 school year today at Amanda Moore Elementary School. With sunny hot weather and a wonderful group of students on hand, I ended the school year in high fashion as I delivered yet another wonderful performance with everyone enjoying my music that was the perfect soundtrack for a beautiful day. Popular songs included: all line dances, any Michael Jackson, any kpop demon hunters, sea lion, life is a highway, among many others. I'd like to thank not only Amanda Moore for having me today but to all the schools and districts I DJd for another great school year (almont, anchor bay, Fraser, Utica, and Romeo). Hope you all have a great summer and see you in the fall. Til then, my next gig is next Friday at an open house at the Milestones Autism Center in Romeo.
