After I DJ'd my fianl grad party of the season last Saturday, I DJ'd a Surprise 50th anniversary party yesterday in Rochester for a couple named Richard and Cathy who are the parents of Kelly Youngblood a long time Atak customer and Atak Army member with Bayside Yacht Club. With great weather (Until the end of the night when we ended early when a rainstorm came before 11) and a terrific packed crowd on hand, we surprised the happy couple with this party and more importantly I surprised them by putting on another dynamite performance and my great mix of music helped made their special surprise more special. There was great outdoor activities and even a 360 photo booth setup in front of me (didn't get a pic on there sadly I was too busy shoutout to Full Circle Photos). Popular songs included: All line dances, Die with a smile, the Wedding Song, Friends in low places, Man! I Feel like a woman, Love Shack, Don't Stop Believin', Sweet Caroline, among many others. I'd like to thank Kelly for having me DJ this event for her parents and to everyone who attended. I'm off again til August 7th when I once again DJ Lutz School's completer ceremony at Villa Penna.

I was bak in action today following a near month break as I DJ'd my 2nd (and as of now final) grad party of the season for a young lady named Tiffany Piro (the granddaughter of one of my dad's old co workers Joe Piro) held at the Mt Clemens FOE 1269. With beautiful weather and a great crowd on hand, I delighted everyone in attendance and helped make Tiffany's day even more special by delivering yet another dynamite performance as I provided a great mix of pop, country, and a little bit of rock and oldies. Didn't tape much as it was more of a laid back grad party, especially more laid back than the last one I did last month, but everyone did enjoy my music and bounced and sang a bit throughout the afternoon. I'd like to thank Tiffany, her parents, and her grandparents for hiring me to DJ this event and hoped that she and everyone in attendance enjoyed it as much as I did DJing and also thanks to the Eagles lodge in Mt. Clemens for being a great host venue. I'm also happy to announce that I'll be DJing a fundraising event for a church in Romeo to be held at the Romeo Lions Club on 9-20. Til then, I will be DJing a private party next Saturday night.

Popular songs included: All line dances, Happy, Shake it off, Love Shack, Never Gonna give you up, Perfect, among many others. I'd like to thank everyone at Beacon Specialized Living for having me DJ this event and hope that everyone there had a great time and also hope to DJ more for them in the future. Til then, I'm off until July 19 when I DJ another grad party.

I finally got to DJ my first grad party of the season yesterday and it was for a set of twins Aleyse and Mitchell 2 fellow Romeo High School Grads. I've done parties for this fam (Fouts) before and they've always been great and this one was no exception. With beautiful but scorching weather and a packed and terrific crowd, I turned up the heat with another spectacular performance with everyone having a wonderful time. It was definitely an eclectic mix of music with rock, country, pop, and rap dominating the evening. Popular songs included: All line dances, Save a horse ride a cowboy, TV Off, Party in the USA, Baby got back, Friends in low places, Country girl, Get Low, Don't stop believin, among many MANY others. I'd like to thank the Fouts family for their never ending support and for having me DJ another grad party for them and hope that everyone there had as much fun as I did DJing for them. I'm happy to officially announce my 2nd grad party of the season is set for Saturday July 19th. But til then, I'm DJing a special needs prom (rescheduled from this past Friday 6-20) in Davison this Thursday.

After ending the school year last week at Amanda Moore's field day, I DJ'd a summer party for Wynstone North subdivision in Oakland Township yesterday. Even with a little sprinkle of rain throughout the night, it didn't dampen the spirits of the families in attendance as they enjoyed great activities like the pool and games, had great food from the shaved ice and hot dog trucks, and more importantly got to see another fantastic performance by me as I delivered a great mix of songs that got both parents and kids dancing and singing along. Popular songs included: All line dances, Any taylor, Party in the USA, Sweet Caroline, Not Like Us, Any country, among many others. I'd like thank Megan and all at Wynstone north for having me DJ this event and by the looks and sounds of it, I hope to DJ a lot more events at this Subdivision in the future. My next gig was scheduled to be a Special Needs prom next Friday in Davison but they moved it to Thursday the 26th so now I'm resting up for my first (and as of now sadly only) grad party of the summer next Saturday.

Following last week's birthday party for Amiyah, I DJ'd my last gig of the school year yesterday which, just like last year, was for Amanda Moore Elementary School's Field day DJing it for the 2nd year in a row. With beautiful and more importantly cooler weather than last year when it was 90 and humid (and got sunburnt to death) and with a great group of students on hand, I ended the school year with a bang as I delivered yet another terrific show with everyone enjoying my great mix of music that I provided to soundtrack a great day. Popular songs included: All line dances, any taylor Swift, Fein, Thic of it, Party in the usa, Any Chappell Roan, Any Kendrick lamar, among many others. I'd like to thank Amanda Moore for having me DJ field day for them again this year. I'd also like to say thanks to all the schools and districts I DJ'd for this school year like Almont, Fraser, Fitzgerald, Utica, Northville, Anchor Bay, and of course Romeo. I hope everyone has a great Summer and see you all in the fall. But til then, I got a sub party to DJ on Friday.

After DJing at Salk this past Thursday for their ice cream social, I DJ'd a 13th birthday party yesterday for a young lady named Amiah held at the Romeo VFW Hall. With a decent turnout of friends and family to help Amiah celebrate her special day, I made her special day more special by delivering yet another terrific performance with fun had by all. As you see in the clips a few folks got to karaoke alongside dancing to the jams. Popular songs included: All line dances, Any gracie Abrams, Any rock, any morgan wallen, Skyeee, among many others. I'd like to thank Amiah and her family for having me DJ her bday party and hoped that she enjoyed it as much as I did DJing it. It's now to Amanda Moore's field day this Friday.

After last Thursday's picnic at Cooke School in Northville, I returned to Salk Elementary PTO Fraser, MI yesterday for the first time in 2 months to DJ their ice cream social for the very first time. With beautiful weather (much better than last week don't you think?) and a great turnout, I delighted them all by delivering yet another dynamite performance providing a great soundtrack to a fun day outside enjoying ice cream and all the provided activities. Popular songs included: All line dances, Right Foot Creep, Who let the dogs out, Baby Shark, Hot to go, APT, Party in the USA, among many others. I'd like to thank everyone at Salk and Fraser Public Schools for their never ending love and support and having me DJ this event for them and can't wait to do more when the new school year begins in the fall. Before I end the school year next week, I've got a birthday party to DJ tomorrow.

Following the Lacoste grand opening event last Saturday at Great Lakes Crossing, today I DJ'd the Cooke School picnic for the 4th year in a row. Cooke School is a special needs school based as part of Northville Public Schools. Despite being inside for the first time at Cooke because of the crappy cold weather we've been having all week, I helped them make the best of this situation by still electrifying them all with another spectacular performance with everyone enjoying my fun mix of music that I provided. Popular songs included: All line dances, Any Taylor Swift, who let the dogs out, Shut up and dance, Dancing queen, Limbo Rock, I Wanna dance with somebody, A bar song, among many others. I'd like to thank everyone at Cooke school for having me again and hope they had as much fun as I did DJing it even if we were inside this year. I hope this is the only year I'm inside for this event. At least for next Thursday's gig, which will be my return to Salk for their Ice Cream social, the weather's looking way WAY better than today so looking forward to that gig for sure.

Following the Great Oaks daddy-daughter dance a few weeks back, I returned to action as I DJ'd the grand opening of the Lacoste Auburn Hills Outlet inside Great Lakes Crossing Outlets yesterday after it got postponed last week. I've been going to GLC for many many years and there's been so much time and especially a lot of money spent inside that mall and created a lot of memories including meeting some celebs there including Michael Bolton plus wresters Chyna and Edge but I never thought that I would ever DJ anywhere in that mall and finally got to for this event. I provided a great mix of upbeat and modern music for shoppers to enjoy while browsing through the great apparel sold at Lacoste. I've never DJ'd a grand opening of a store before let alone one inside GLC and it was a great experience. I want to thank Daniela and the staff of Lacoste for having me DJ their grand opening and I hope that me and my music made it a little more grander. I'm now gearing up to make my return to Cooke School this Thursday to DJ their spring picnic for the 4th year in a row.

Hello again everyone. The atak here to announce that the Lacoste great lakes crossing grand opening that was supposed to happen last Saturday has officially been rescheduled for this Saturday from 1-4 p.m. So happy I can still dj this event and so excited about it.

05/10/2025

Hello again all. Zak here with this very last second update. Apologize for it being late as I post this but I just got the news that due to Auburn Hills Fire inspector not allowing Lacoste store at Great Lakes Crossing to open until Tuesday that means the grand opening for tomorrow has been cancelled. I'm so beyond disappointed as I was so excited to finally dj an event at GLC and was even going through what songs to play for this. This was an absolute 11th hour cancellation and feel for the employees of Lacoste who were hoping to open their doors tomorrow and now have to wait. They are hoping to reschedule the grand opening event for next Saturday but unsure at this time and if it does get rescheduled I'll let you know. Til then, I'm still on break until the Cooke School gig in Northville happening in 2 weeks.
