A United States Navy F35C fighter jet crashed Wednesday evening near Naval Air Station Lemoore. The pilot ejected safely and the cause of the accident is currently unknown and under investigation.

Closing out day 5 at Airventure 2025 was the demonstration. This demo featured air power assets from the 115th Fighter Wing, 128th Refueling Wing, and the 1st Battalion 147th Aviation Regiment. The Wisconsin National Guard has aircraft located in multiple locations around the state, with the 115th Fighter Wing’s F35s based out of KMSN, and the refueling assets of the 128th Refueling Wing based at KMKE.

Airventure day 4 featured many high intensity aerobatic acts as well as a few jet demos. This would also mark the final time the A-10 Thunderbolt II AKA “Warthog” would ever perform in Oshkosh. Before the weather rolled in, the show would conclude with the KC-46 Pegasus demo.

Airventure day 3 started off with the departure of the Jetran Boeing 767 BBJ, followed by a variety of warbirds an aerobatic aircraft. The day show would wind down with the Patty Wagstaff's final Airventure performance. The night show featured both of the world's only airworthy B29 bombers flying together, followed by various aerobatic acts involving fireworks, pyrotechnics, and the drone show.
