At 6:43 AM, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Atkins to near Williamsburg to near Montezuma, moving east at 60 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Trained weather spotters. Several measured wind gusts between 60 to 70 mph in Benton and Iowa Counties.
