But here’s the hack most people miss 👇
Party nights = early closures (6pm).
Most guests avoid them… big mistake.
Those are actually the best days to go — smallest crowds, shortest waits, easiest park days.
Do your rides then, catch fireworks another night.
💡 Bonus: Animal Kingdom closes early too — perfect for a park hop!
🎙️ Hear the full breakdown in Adventures of Two Grey Mice — where we share how to do Disney’s holiday season WITHOUT party tickets.

Disney won’t tell you this, but you have way more time than you think - from your Group 7 Gen x Travel Advisor
Your Lightning Lane says 1:30-2:30pm but it’s already 3:00pm?
Don’t panic. Here’s what Disney doesn’t advertise:
⏰ You actually have 2-3 HOURS from your START time
So that 1:30 window? You’re usually good until 3:30-4:30pm.
The app might show you “missed” it at 2:31, but in reality: • Walk up to the ride • Scan your band/ticket • Green light = you’re in
They usually only turn you away after the 3-hour mark.
🍽️ This is a game-changer for: • Enjoying table service meals • Not rushing through the park • Actually relaxing on vacation
Pro tip: Still try to hit your window, but don’t stress if you’re running late and don’t forget to book your next ride at the hour mark.

🕖Group 7 Gen X Travel Advisor here.
How I ended up as a Travel Advisor who specializes in theme parks goes back to me being jealous of all the South of the Border and WDW bumper stickers growing up and not being able to go.😢 This caused me to want to Honeymoon at Walt Disney World and that started my love for the parks. In another reel 📽️I will tell you how that transformed into where I am today, just 34 yrs later. So, like and follow to see the next installment. 🐭⚡

⬇️Group 7 - Want to know the secret to getting the best Lightning Lanes?
❌ Most people: Start with day 1, work forward
✅ Smart strategy: Start with your LAST day, work backward
Here’s why it works: Everyone rushes to book their first park day, so availability disappears fast. But your last day? Way more options.
At 7am on booking day:
Book your furthest day first (best selection)
Work backwards
Your first day might have fewer options, but your priority days are golden
⏰ On-site guests: 7 days before check-in ⏰ Off-site guests: 3 days before first park day
This one trick changed my entire Disney planning game. Listen to the Full Podcast - Adventures of Two Grey Mice where ever you get your podcasts (or link in bio)

⚡⚡You don’t need Lightning Lanes at every Disney park (and in EP 17 I’ll tell you which ones to skip)
Here’s the truth about Lightning Lanes at Disney World: you probably don’t need them everywhere.
✅ WORTH IT: • Magic Kingdom (especially with kids) • Busy season visits
❌ SKIP IT: • Animal Kingdom (maybe just buy Flight of Passage single pass) • Hollywood Studios (until more rides open) • August visits (lower crowds)
💡 PRO TIP: If you’re doing extended evening hours or special events, save your money—lines are already shorter.
Lightning Lanes now cost $35-40+ per person, so make every dollar count. Which park would YOU splurge on?
