For the business side of this post: if you’re not batching in 2026, but you’re complaining that posting is taking a significant chunk of your day, I BEG OF YOU, pls give it a try !!!! Check socials on your desktop (treat it like your email inbox) and stay off social media when you don’t need to be on it. It’s crazy how much time you can buy back when you avoid scrolling mindlessly🤪

This is the top mistake I see on small businesses social media🫣 yes, social media is a great place to share important info, promotions, etc. BUT thats not actually the purpose of social media. And it’s not helping you any (sorry to say).

I’m not saying never share those things, but I am saying those posts rarely connect with anyone & isn’t that the whole point of social media after all??😜 Think of what kind of content you love to see on social media & what sticks around in your mind, makes you hit share/save, or what makes you actually book or purchase. That’s the goal: create trust, stay top of mind, and connect genuinely 🫶🏼

If you’re thinking “okay but I’m already having a hard enough time thinking of post ideas” I GET YOU !!! That’s what strategy sessions are great for: aligning your content with your goals & making sure you have a never-ending stream of post ideas💌

Can you guess what the #1 thing holding most small businesses back from real growth online is??

It’s not their graphics, follower count, or even how often they post 👀 It’s that nobody knows what they actually do, because they’re not talking about it enough (or at all).

You cannot be known for something you don’t talk about consistently. And I know, I know, it feels repetitive. It feels like you’re being annoying. But you’re not!!!!! You’re forming perception, building trust, and actually leaving an impression on people who need what you have (hello social strategy🫡).

The accounts you admire that seem to be everywhere? They decided what they wanted to be known for and kept showing up with that. Over and over. Way more than felt comfortable.

Filming content, recording voiceovers, and video editing are all muscles that only grow when you exercise them 🏋🏻‍♀️I fear practice does make perfect🫶🏼
