Some prayers are answered quickly.
Some take time.
And some are answered in ways we never expected.

Keep believing when the path feels uncertain.
Keep trusting when the answers seem delayed.
Keep walking when your faith is being tested.

God hears every whispered prayer,
every silent tear,
every grateful heart,
and every hope you carry.

You may not see what He is doing today,
but that doesn't mean He isn't working.

Faith is believing that even when you can't see the whole picture,

Every month it's the same conversation... 😂

"To verify your identity, please tell us your name."

Sure.

"Now your address."

Okay.

"Now your account number."

Got it.

"Now your date of birth."

Done.

"Now your favorite color, your first pet, and the name of your third-grade teacher."

At this point I'm wondering if I'm paying a bill or applying to join the CIA. 🤦‍♂️

And here's what really gets me...

If someone is calling to PAY my bills,
why are we making this difficult?

If a complete stranger wants to send money to my account,
give them the VIP treatment,
a thank-you card,
and maybe a fruit basket. 😂

The older I get,
the more I realize common sense and customer service
don't always ride in the same car.

But until then,
I'll keep proving I'm me...
just so I can spend my own money paying my own bills. 💸📞😆

Oh, I remember! 😂

Before dishwashers did the work,
we were the dishwashers.

Before dryers fluffed everything soft,
we chased clothes across the yard when the wind picked up. 👕🌬️

Laundry dried on a clothesline,
bedsheets smelled like sunshine,
and towels could practically stand up on their own. ☀️

Dishes were washed by hand,
one person washed,
one person dried,
and somehow it turned into family time.

We didn't have a machine for every chore.
We just rolled up our sleeves and got it done.

Funny thing is...
we complained about it then,
but now those simple days feel like some of the sweetest memories. ❤️

Life was harder,
but somehow it seemed a little slower,
a little simpler,
and maybe a little more connected.

Not because every prayer is answered immediately,
but because every prayer is heard.

There will be days when the road feels long,
when answers seem delayed,
and when your faith is tested by circumstances you never expected.

Pray anyway.

There will be moments when fear whispers louder than hope,
when doubt tries to convince you to give up,
and when you cannot see what God is doing behind the scenes.

Believe anyway.

Sometimes the blessing arrives exactly as you asked.
Sometimes it arrives in a way you never imagined.
And sometimes the answer is simply the strength to keep going until the right door opens.

Remember,
while you are praying for your future,
someone may be praying for you.
While you are waiting for a miracle,
God may already be working one into your story.

Keep your faith stronger than your fear.

God is good in the waiting,

One day you finally understand...

Why your grandparents sat on the porch,
why they watched the sunset,
why they smiled at nothing,
and why they seemed perfectly content doing absolutely nothing at all.

It wasn't because they were bored.
It wasn't because they had nothing left to do.

It was because they had finally learned
that peace is something to be treasured.

After spending years chasing schedules,
raising families,
working hard,
and carrying responsibilities,
they discovered the beauty of simply being.

No rushing.
No proving.
No competing.

Just a quiet evening,
a gentle breeze,
a comfortable chair,
and gratitude for another day.

The older I get,
the more I realize that some of life's richest moments
aren't found in excitement...

They're found in stillness.

The more I live,
the more I realize that gratitude changes everything.

Not because life is perfect.
Not because every day is easy.
Not because there are no struggles, worries, or tears.

But because through every season,
God has remained faithful.

For every door He opened,
for every prayer He answered,
for every storm He carried me through,
and even for the blessings I didn't notice at the time...

Thank You, God.

There are blessings in the breath we take,
the people we love,
the lessons we've learned,
and the mercy we receive each new morning.

A grateful heart doesn't ignore life's hardships.
It simply chooses to focus on God's goodness in the middle of them.

Today, and every day,
I will keep saying:

"Thank You, God."

Because His love never runs out,
His grace never fails,

Age is a funny thing...

One day you're making plans for the future,
and the next you're walking into a room wondering why you went there in the first place.

But growing older isn't something to fear.
It's a privilege many never get.

With age comes wisdom,
stronger faith,
deeper gratitude,
and the ability to laugh at things that once seemed so important.

I'm not old...
I've simply collected more stories,
more lessons,
more memories,
and more reasons to appreciate each new day.

So here's to being somewhere between young enough to dream big,
and old enough to know what truly matters.

Still standing.
Still smiling.
Still learning.

Life played a little trick on us...

When we were younger, we thought sleep was magical.
Stay up late, sleep a few hours, wake up fresh and ready for anything.

Now?
We go to bed tired...
wake up tired...
and somehow discover brand-new aches we didn't even have yesterday.

The pillow leaves marks,
the back makes strange noises,
and the mirror greets us with a face that looks like it spent the night negotiating with gravity.

But here's the funny part...

We laugh about it.
We keep going.
We make the coffee,
say our prayers,
count our blessings,
and face another day with gratitude.

Because growing older may change the face in the mirror,
but it also teaches us what really matters:
peace over perfection,
memories over possessions,
and laughter over worry.

And honestly...
a good sense of humor is better than beauty sleep anyway. 😂☕❤️

and then life shows up with bills, repairs, surprises, and expenses you never saw coming.

One moment it's sitting comfortably in your account,
and the next it's gone without even saying goodbye.

Still, don't let a shrinking wallet convince you that you're failing.
Your worth has never been measured by the number in your bank account.

Keep showing up.
