🌤️ Daily Prayer & Reflection 🌤️

You know… sometimes I realize that if I don’t hang out with certain people for whatever reason, I hope my closest friends wouldn’t either 🤷🏽‍♀️💭. Business is one thing 💼—personal is another 💔.

But that’s just me today. I’m learning that people see friendship differently, and that realization was a hurtful awakening 😔💔. Still, I’ve come to understand that some people are in your life for a reason or a season 🍂🌸—and that’s okay.

What truly matters is knowing that no matter what, you always have a friend in Jesus 🙌🏽✨. No matter what you’re going through, no matter what the circumstances look like, God is there—in the storm 🌧️, in the confusion 🌪️, and in the stillness 🕊️.

For everyone feeling displaced or hurting right now, I’m so sorry for what you’re dealing with 💔🙏🏽. But I believe with all my heart that God is a Waymaker 🛤️✨—and He will make a way out of this situation for you.

😔 People are suffering. 💔 The hope is nearly lost and we are having a difficult time just staying positive — at least I am.

🙏🏽 I don’t want to miss out on being present. Having no control and letting Jesus take the wheel 🚗✝️ but dang! It’s a lot to ask of us imperfect people! 😩

A lot of times I want to hide and evade 😶‍🌫️ but other times I choose to remember… just like the gym 🏋🏽‍♀️ faith is an exercise 💪🏽 and it’s something we have to do daily ⏰

To know that we know what we know — and that, my friends, is what I have learned over the years of trusting Heavenly Father! 🙌🏽✨💫

My friend has no melanin 😅 but swears she is black 🖤.
I can’t argue with her because, well, everybody does come from black people ✊🏽

There was other stuff, but I realized today I was not wrong 😔—
the way I handled the situation could have been different 🙏🏽

All that to say… I apologize 💕

She wants to be black sunshine ☀️
Why is that so bad? So wrong? So offensive to me? 🤷🏽‍♀️
Many reasons probably… and I know I too am justified 💭
But the friendship, the love 💞 — that’s the part that matters most ❤️

So it’s easy for me to take down, agree to disagree 🤝🏽
and let her light shine 🌟

Because at the end of the day, we all have one thing in common — a heartbeat 💓

And we all fall short and live our lives unto the glory of our Heavenly Father 🙌🏽
