Elphaba is for the girls who become the villain in other people’s stories that they were once close with so they feel better about their own lies, delusions and how wrong they treated someone who was truly in their corner.

You become the scapegoat, the one everyone labels as evil so the actual wrongdoers can continue hiding and avoid having to self reflect on their own wickedness.

The FBI has named a 16-year-old stepbrother (Timothy Hudson) as a suspect in its investigation into Anna's death, which took place in international waters. Anna's body was discovered under a bed in a cabin shared with her 14-year-old brother and the 16-year-old stepbrother, wrapped in a blanket and covered with life vests.

According to a statement from the father of Anna Kepner's former boyfriend, the stepbrother had a "creepy obsession" with the 18-year-old cheerleader and was once allegedly caught climbing on top of her while she slept. The former boyfriend's family claims they tried to warn Anna's parents about the stepbrother's behavior.

8:10 AM UPDATE FROM AWS OUTAGE:
It's largely tech jargon, but the short version:
They are still working to "fully restore" everything, but most services seem to be back up and running.
There ARE still latency issues.

6:40 AM LATEST FROM AWS ON OUTAGE:
The underlying DNS issue has been fully mitigated, and most AWS Service operations are succeeding normally now. Some requests may be throttled while we work toward full resolution.

6 AM LATEST FROM AWS ON OUTAGE:
"We are seeing significant signs of recovery. Most requests should now be succeeding. We continue to work through a backlog of queued requests. We will continue to provide additional information."

5:30 AM UPDATE: AWS says there are "early signs of recovery," but everything not resolved just yet.
"We recommend customers retry failed requests."

Heading to Carnival's Celebration Key soon? Here are my quick tips for first-time visitors:

🌎 Map first: Pick family-friendly side (right) vs adult-friendly side (left), beach vs pool, and food spot before you go. The property is very big, so doing a bit of advance planning is helpful.

⚓ The five "portals" are Paradise Plaza (the entry point and waterslides), Starfish Lagoon (family-friendly beach and pool), Calypso Lagoon (adult-friendly beach and pool), Lokono Cove (shopping area), and Pearl Cove (adults-only paid spot).

🌮 One swipe: You only get one free Island Eats meal, so make it count. skip the "meh" food hall and walk further back to use it at one of the food trucks instead.

🌴 Shade & Chairs: Free loungers and umbrellas are available at the lagoons and beaches, but if you arrive late, or just scope out the spots nearest the entrances, you may struggle to find more than one, so walk further back and/or arrive early to snag yours.

💳 Money: Food/bars take Sail & Sign, but shops need credit card. The drink packages do not work here, plus you'll pay 18% service + 10% VAT.

🛟 Towels: Bring ship towels unless you’ve paid for Peal Cove access, where fluffy, luxe fancy towels are provided.

🎟️ Wristbands: Waterslides require wristband purchase. If you want one, buy early online b/c they sell out. There are sometimes same-day purchases available, but those are limited.
