We were saddened to hear of the recent passing of Sabato "Sam" D'Ambrosi, who earlier this year retired after an incredible run of volunteer service on the City of Waterbury's Board of Public Health. WATR on March 7 celebrated Sam as our "Warrior of the Week" when he officially stepped down. A Waterbury native and U.S. Air Force veteran, Sam was 93 when he passed away on Friday. Funeral services are being held today (Oct. 2).
