Update on SPB Publishing, my podcasts and my upcoming Substack:
As anyone who has been buying my books for a long time will tell you, the early books, especially those written 10 years ago and earlier, are chock full of typos and other unfortunate things. This is because writers should never be their own proofreaders. You just don’t catch things. For the last 10 years of books or so, while the books are not perfect, because no book is, I have been working toward making them more readable. And to that end, I have long wanted to “remaster” and update the old books (I did update HFD, but that was 14 years ago).
At the moment, I am working on updating/upgrading the books that need updating and upgrading. For those of you who care about such things, you can look for that soon. I probably will make them available publicly, but when I finally get my Substack together, the books will probably be available as a perk to anyone who, say, pays at the $10 monthly level. The Substack will be available very soon, and will consist of short subject articles about things (Frank, yes, and probably other stuff) that I’ve wanted to write about.
For those of you who’ve been asking – – and that’s a lot of people – – yes, there are new episodes of the ZappaCast and Keep The Dream Flowing in the works. Substack subscribers will probably also have access to exclusive content from those shows.
