When a politician:

Smears a Pope for not blessing his politics, and

Literally portrays himself as the savior of the world,

that’s not “faith-based values.” That’s blasphemy, idolatry, and authoritarian propaganda rolled into one.

If your “Christianity” requires worshiping Donald Trump as Jesus, it’s not Christianity you’re defending — it’s his ego, his power, and his ability to get away with anything. And the more he deifies himself, the clearer it becomes: this movement will burn down democracy, the rule of law, and even basic faith to keep one man on a golden throne.
