The weather this week is perfect to visit the MTL Story Walk® and we have a new book, Hedgehog's Home for Winter by Elena Ulyeva. This book will teach about what different animals do in the winter. As you read, there are questions to discuss and ways to interact with the book.

The Story Walk® is accessible, outside, and available whenever you'd like to visit. It provides an opportunity for the community to enjoy a story while walking the grounds of the library, and promotes early literacy, physical activity, and family time together outdoors. There are 12 different story posts placed outside, throughout the library’s property, starting along the sidewalk between the library and the historic Col. Morrison home. You will start at the story post marked one and read the pages. You will continue along the path until you have reached the story post marked twelve. The Story Walk® will be changed throughout the year.

The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. StoryWalk® is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson.
