The annual Watertown Radio Pie Auction to benefit the Salvation Army will be held on the morning of Tuesday, November 25th.

All proceeds raised benefit local Salvation Army programs.

Active Heating employees will be in the Watertown Radio parking lot Monday October 20th from 11 am to 1 pm selling tickets for the 14th annual "Get Active in the Fight Against Cancer" pink furnace giveaway!

Tickets are $10 each, 3 for $20, or 9 for $50.

The raffle drawing will be Oct. 31st. The winner has their choice of a pink Coleman furnace installed ($8,000 value), or $3,000 cash.

Proceeds benefit Codington County Cares Cancer Foundation.

In the previous 13 years, the campaign has raised over $160,000!

This morning on Watertown Radio, we talked with Brittany Busskohl of the Glacial Lakes Humane Society about Bear.

Bear is a nearly two year-old male husky mix. He's been neutered, de-wormed and microchipped. He's up to date on all of this shots and now, he just needs to find a home.

For more information on Bear, and the other cats and dogs available for adoption, call the Humane Society at 882-2247.

Watertown's People Against Child Hunger..or PACH program...is holding a "back to school food drive" this week.

Their mission is to help children enrolled in a school in Codington County who may not have enough to eat at home.

The PACH program is looking specifically for jars of peanut butter, canned soups or vegetables, pudding or fruit cups and canned spaghetti.

Our Watertown Radio studios on Highway 212 are a drop off site for your donations.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
