It's November, the month that is recognized as Healthy Bladder Awareness. It is a time to bring attention to the importance of urinary health. For senior citizens, one of the most common bladder issues is the urinary tract infection (UTI). While UTIs can happen at any age, older adults are at higher risk due to natural changes in the bladder, other health conditions, and sometimes even the side effects of medications.

In the world of investing, we’ve all heard the phrase, “Don’t put all your eggs in one basket.” It’s solid advice that emphasizes the importance of diversifying your investments. Unfortunately, some people misinterpret this wisdom to mean they should avoid consolidating their investment accounts and keep their money spread across multiple financial institutions, often working with several different financial advisors.

The ninth week of action in the Tri-City Record’s Armchair Quarterback contest had some daunting choices on the gridiron, as our knowledgeable diehards attempted to pick the winners in three local high school, four collegiate, and three professional football games. Regarding the final records from our contest last week, just three of our accomplished scholars passed the weekly examination, while three others received failing grades, leaving this educator wondering if the test was just that difficult!
