In her first year at Watonga, Piper Gallagher found her place as a runner on the vaunted track and cross country teams, a leader of the yearbook staff, a go-to photographer, a 4.0 student, and an intern for the Watonga Republican.

Moving to a new town in the middle of high school can be an overwhelming experience. But for Piper Gallagher, a junior (and soon-to-be senior) at Watonga High School, the change has been welcome.

Athlete spotlight: Cale Lorenz is a senior at Watonga High School and is looking forward to graduating and becoming a SWOSU Bulldog.

Cale Lorenz is a senior at Watonga High School and is looking forward to graduating and becoming a SWOSU Bulldog. Cale is involved in football, baseball, and a number of academic clubs. He is a valedictorian of the 2022 graduating class, and he has a passion for helping people.

Watonga Track & Field has received its Regionals assignment. It will compete at Cherokee on Saturday, April 30, for a shot at State!

After helping to start the Watonga Golf program this spring, Kaylee Roberts will attend and play college golf at the Centenary College of Louisiana. Her signing ceremony was this afternoon. Congrats, Kaylee!
