Had a great time at “Locals Sports Bar and Grill” in Central this evening. The band J’ango, Doc, Hal, Farley, and Robert were there performing and entertaing after a great LSU/Vanderbilt football game……yay LSU! Great food…your favorite beverages and fabulous entertainment. Want to thank Pavo for helping us with setting up our sound…….it sounded great all evening with no feedback whatsoever! Also, want to than locals for having us.

Last Tuesday morning Doc Hearl and I started on our trip to VA to do a show for who we thought was for a college grad. It was not for a young adult grad but for a 77 year old man who owns a very successful contracting business. We were also blessed to have Dixon County Line band from Nashville join us in this celebration. It rained on us! We were under a very nicely covered stage that did not leak. We finished the gig around 9pm and started tearing down our gear. It was raining pretty hard as we started loading the big van we had rented to make the 1100 mile trip in. I want to thank Doc’s cousin, Kenny for housing us two nights. The hospitality was second to none. Ryan and Carolyn also took us in for a night as well. Thank you very much!
We made it home Sunday evening around 6:15. Very thankful for a great time and safe trip there and back. Just a side thought…..don’t ever ask me to drive through Atlanta…….and I mean it…lol.
