Last night’s game taught me some things:
1. Dak Is back officially and it was great to see him have a great night. But that injury has made him an actual pocket passer… he wont be as mobile this season
2. The Cowboys offensive scheme was a little 2-Dimensional… WR screens and TE dumps… hopefully Kellen Moore wil expand that playbook as weeks progress
3. Brady doesnt miss a step… his WRs however has to make more effort into second chance plays. Mike Evans failed to make plays two crucial moments. Godwin fumbling at the wrong moment, Fournette not catching screens and turning them into picks Ronald Jones gotta get better… ALL BAD
4. Bucs defense suffered crucial injuries… hopefully they wont last all season or it will be trouble
5. Antonio Brown was looking like it was them Pittsburgh days all over again, catching every ball thrown at him
6. Gronk and Brady has this connection where Brady trusts Gronk will catch it no matter how its thrown to him… thats the best TE QB connection ive seen so far in the NFL
7. Cowboys Kicker looking like Dustin Hopkins out there… kickers matters just as much in games and last night has shown that
8. Overall…. Great game and what a big way to start the season off with such an offensive game on both sides of the ball
