Happy Easter 🐰

Last Wednesday my wife gave birth to a beautiful baby boy, his name is Teddy 🐻 Thank you to everyone who has sent us wonderful messages, and to all of my clients who have been patient during this busy time ❤️

Tomorrow we celebrate our older son Oliver's second birthday! 🎉 🥳 Life is pretty awesome, and I'm very grateful for all that I have ☀️

Who else has been loving the new Lady Gaga album? 😍

I've had it on repeat while working the past few weeks and was inspired to make an alternate version of the cover art. I leaned into the chaotic and spooky vibe of Mayhem, using more of the images taken by Frank Lebon.

Last week Blaze Orange released his first EP and I had the honor of creating the album art for it 🔥

I also created multiple pieces of content for the release, including Spotify canvas videos, cover art for various remixes on the EP, social media banners, promo graphics, and Instagram Reels 🤝

I took the photo used for the cover art at Road America last summer during the Grid Life event that Blaze Orange performed at 📷

Sometimes a minor refresh to your logo is all you need!

After creating the original logo for Judy's On North in 2021, I've continued to work with the owner Kevin on various projects over the years. Business cards, restaurant menus, food truck menus, and their new website all became cohesive with elements of the Judy's brand.

After a tragic kitchen fire in late 2023, Kevin and his team eventually reopened in a new location on Farwell. After brainstorming together on a few different options, we came up with the name "Judy's Cantina" to represent not only the restaurant, but the bar, food truck, and catering sides of the business as well.

While creating the new logo for Judy's Cantina, I was inspired to come up with alternate colors, different font options, and a redesigned version of "Judy". After going through the drafts with Kevin, he ultimately came to the decision that he was still in love with the classic look of the previous logo.

This was super flattering to hear as a designer! After a few years and changing locations, the branding had cemented its role in the business ❤️ It's also a nice reminder that if something isn't broken for your client, there's no need to try and fix it 🧠

Starting the new year off by showcasing some projects from 2024 that I never got around to sharing!

One of my favorite experiences was taking headshots for the Alverno College sports teams, which included softball, golf, tennis, cross country, and basketball 📸

Having a portable setup makes it easy to take professional headshots like these at any location 👌
