Assembly District 82 candidates Rico Camacho (pictured, left) and Bryson Reyes (pictured, right) are sparring over a political mailer paid for by the Republican Party of Wisconsin and authorized by Reyes. The mailer accuses Camacho of being endorsed by terrorist sympathizers and alleges that he "loved content saying ‘This Country Sucks.’" Camacho, in a statement Monday to The Freeman, accused Reyes’ campaign of using mailers that allegedly darkened his skin and questioned his patriotism.

Waukesha West girls soccer and basketball great Dani Watt (née Rhodes) was enshrined into the school's Wall of Fame on Friday at Waukesha West High School. Watt, who graduated in 2016, also had her girls soccer number (4) retired at the ceremony, a moment that brought her to tears.

Oconomowoc Police Chief Jim Pfister announced he will retire Jan. 7, 2027. Pfister has been the chief of police for six years, a member of the OPD for 26 years and a member of law enforcement for 32 years.
