This is so interesting. We love Monk Botanical Gardens

Our camp crew caught site of this hummingbird moth. These insects mimic the flying patterns of hummingbirds and pollinate blooms late in the day. They are a treat to behold!

Seems to be some major changes coming to Channel 9.

Unfortunate news in local media as we've learned of a massive round of layoffs impacting WQOW. Allen Media Group, which has been laying off staff nationwide for months, has decided to consolidate Wisconsin much of their operations at their Wausau, La Crosse and Eau Claire ABC stations to Madison. Many in the community began to notice formatting changes last week before significant on-air differences started to appear this week. Locally a number of individuals have been let go including both behind the scenes and on-air talent. We send our best to these individuals while simultaneously hoping a reversal is made at some point to invest BACK into our area's media.

What a great thing our officers are doing to support breast cancer.

It's October, which means it's . For years now, our officers have spent their own money to purchase pink badges, to support Breast Cancer Awareness. They are permitted to wear the badges through the entire month of October to help spread awareness, celebrate the survivors, and honor those we have lost to the horrible disease.

Deputy Chief Barnes found some helpers to operate the radar gun in a school zone as classes got underway last week.

Officers have been focusing on school zone speed enforcement, and have made dozens of stops during these first few days of school. You’ve probably seen us out there during the mornings and afternoons.

We appreciate all who are slowing down through the school zones - THANK YOU!
