HOME for ALL WISCONSINITES.

The statistics are sobering: 5,049 Wisconsinites were homeless in 2024, including 351 homeless Wisconsin veterans. We can't stand by.

Join us in Working together to END HOMELESSNESS throughout Wisconsin. Your donation, big or small, goes directly to supporting Wisconsin families in need in the local areas of donation. Just $25 can provide meals and support for one person.

SCAN THE CODE or SEARCH GoFundMe.com to donate: "Wisconsin Newspapers Supporting Homelessness"

Let's make a difference—everyone deserves a home.

Conversations on a Bench

Thursday, October 9, 2:00 PM – Thursday, October 10, 2:00 PM.

Wausau, WI — Bridge Street Mission’s Executive Director, Craig Vincent, will be sitting on a bench downtown outside of The Episcopal Church of St. John the Baptist for 24 hours to engage in meaningful conversations around homelessness. This national event, commemorating World Homeless Day, is an in-person and livestreamed event featuring raw and unscripted conversations with neighbors, community leaders, organizations, unhoused and formerly unhoused clients around the topics of homelessness, addiction and mental illness. The media and public are invited to join the conversation in person or via livestream.

Bridge Street Mission believes that the demonstration of love opens the door to hope and transformation for even the most wounded person. We meet people in crisis and move them toward success through the power of the Gospel. Current programming includes an Outreach Center that serves as a daytime drop-in center with a noon meal, a residential Men’s Recovery Center and plans to add residential programming for women.
