With the help of community support, the Adopt-a-Classroom event at Tri County Area School was a success. Through Thrivent grants and donations, $600 of supplies for teachers were purchased. This is in addition to personal purchases made directly by parents and community members. Event organizers and TC staff are so grateful!

Volunteerism remains one of the great strengths of American life. Across towns and cities, adults who give their time to service organizations help strengthen communities, support neighbors in need, and sustain values that unite us. Whether it’s through church groups, local charities, or civic clubs, volunteers form the backbone of our communities. In Waushara County, two groups that embody this spirit of giving are the Wautoma Kiwanis Club and the Wild Rose Kiwanis Club—both dedicated to improving the lives of children and families while nurturing the next generation of community leaders.

Hancock is home to a talented snow sculpture artist whose latest masterpiece is proudly displayed in his front yard. Local resident Jeff Fay, an accomplished illustrator and designer, has transformed his yard into a winter gallery over the years, featuring whimsical creations such as a fish, spaceship, shark, and bear. This year’s Santa sculpture took two days and nearly 20 hours to complete.
