Jeannie Seely has died of complications from an intestinal infection at the age of 85. The Grammy-winning country singer was known for songs like 'Don't Touch Me.' She also was a staple of the Grand Ole Opry after becoming a member in 1967.

🎶 Hometown Radio KBEC is proud to always play the real country music you know and love – including the legendary John Michael Montgomery.

We’re sad to share that John Michael Montgomery has announced his final farewell performance as part of his “The Road Home Tour” on December 12 at Rupp Arena in Lexington, KY.

Montgomery will be joined by his brother Eddie Montgomery of Montgomery Gentry, his son Walker Montgomery, and Travis Denning for one unforgettable night.

“I stepped on a tour bus for the first time in 1992 and haven’t looked back since, but now it’s time to bring it all back home for my last concert and I can’t think of a better place than Rupp Arena,” John Michael Montgomery said.

Born in Danville and raised in nearby Nicholasville, Montgomery is closing out an incredible career in the heart of Kentucky – where it all began.

💔 We’ll miss seeing him live, but you can count on KBEC to keep his music alive every day.
