Our lovely co-host, Connor Griffin, has lost someone extremely important to him and his family, Mr. Joseph Griffin.

As we are planning new episodes for the year, we wanted to share the heartbreaking news.

Our plan within the next few weeks is to post some recordings of Mr. Joseph Griffin discussing his military experience, along with another episode honoring his life story.

As a reminder, while you still have the older generations in your life, please record their legacy while you can. Spend time with your grandparents and love them! It makes all the difference in their world.

Rest in Heavenly Peace Mr. Griffin ❤️

Back in July of 2024, we visited the Ware County Fire Rescue and snagged some of these pictures of the station over time!

We don’t really remember much of the descriptions from the pictures, so if you have any information, please leave it in the comments!

Raise a glass (of delicious, refreshing Coca-Cola!) to Mr. Asa Candler today!

Candler was Atlanta's 41st mayor from 1916 to 1919 and assisted in founding Emory University by donating $1 million and 75 acres of land for its cause - but what he is arguably most famous for is buying the rights and formula of this famous drink, and pushing Coke away from the direction as a medicinal elixir and toward the direction of the soft drink we know and love today.

Happy Birthday to Mr. Jerry, the man who started it all. 🎉Because of your vision, hard work, and heart, Jerry J’s has become more than just a restaurant, it’s a family. We wouldn’t be where we are today without you. Thank you for the legacy you’ve built and the example you’ve set.💚
