As of mid-2024, 13,099 people living in the U.S. illegally had been convicted of homicide (murder or manslaughter) according to ICE data shared with lawmakers.
Additionally, 1,845 people had pending homicide charges.

As of the same ICE data snapshot, **15,811 people living in the U.S. illegally had been convicted of sexual assault, which includes r**e offenses in the broader category.
