The is over 13 miles long, often count in conjuncion with Paria Canyon, reaching more than 20 miles of Slot Canyon. A crossing can be done all the way to Lees Ferry, a 45 miles journey total.

There are 4 trailheads:
Wire Pass - The most used. It will take you right to action, to the prettiest part of Buckskin Gulch, is also a about 1.5 miles long

Buckskin Gulch - Despite having the canyon's name, it is less used due to a longer walk out of the canyon. Great option, if you have transportation option/arragements, exiting by Wire Pass

White House - This is more an emergency exit for people who is giving up on the long hike to , a lot longer and harder than the previous options

Lee's Ferry - This is most of the times the exit point from the 45 miles crossing

🥾8 miles out-and-back, anywhere from 6 to 10 hours. The is hard, many crossing and boulder climbing, be ready to have your feet wet does not matter how good your are. It is strenuous, start early and plan well

🏜 This is one of the most amazing rock formations anywhere in the world, be prepared for a long hike trough a beautiful , with some little falls and rapids arriving at the destination, The Subway is a amazing tunnel formation with pools and a little carved on the rock

🚗 Great road to get to the , any vehicle will do the job

⚠️ ALERT 1: check about algae bloom contamination on the water, if that is the case, you will have to bring water for the whole , the algae cannot be filtered. That applies for animals, a service dog has died from getting into the water. So make sure what is water situation (that applies for many creeks in Zion)
⚠️ ALERT 2: that is a only hike, so you will have to apply for a permit on the permit cabin by the main visitor center or get it online on nps.gov . There is also a lottery for the summer months, so plan ahead

🚗 A regular car will get there in dry days, I would recommend a 4x4 on wet weather, about 6 miles of dirt road

⚠️ ALERT 1: be prepared for the heat, bring plenty of water for you and you your mates, furry mates included! Sunscreen and sunglasses are a must
ALERT 2: stone staking has become a huge debate, you will find a “garden” of totems near the vortex, go there and stack yours, it is a place for it! Don’t do that anywhere else, you may get other hikers lost and will contaminate the landscape

has so much to offer, it doesn’t matter which time of the year, it will always be an amazing
Despite it is extremely visited, there are still some , places that are not on park or google maps
is definitely one of this , you will find it on the Pine Creek Canyon, right after the road that brings you to The Narrows and other attractions you will see a bridge, there is pullover area on each side before the bridge, lucky you if you find a spot. Looking to the bridge, but before it yet (going uphill) the will be on your left hand about 50 yards before the bridge. A small .5 miles easy is gonna take you to one of the best in

It’s in Sedona, get ready for a good 13 miles of dirty road and a very rough 1.5 miles with you will need a 4WD or it yourself.
If you can drive the last part it is just a 0.5 mile hike, if not it will about 2 miles
Once the ends and the walk starts it looks scary, the edge seems too steep and slippery but is not that bad

Well, people get married up here so locals know about it, I just imagine how the cake arrives because the drive is very very rough.
You will need a 4WD and very high clearance, good skills and strong stomach
The depends on how much you can drive trough this road.
No drive, 6 mile hike, drive as close as you can get and it will about .3 mile hike.
Easy path but always going up
Anyway the views are some of the best we have found in Sedona.

The of the secrets
You don’t see many guides to this place either it shows up on maps and it is totally understandable, it is super hard to get there.
Once in you are gonna just past the hotel, there is a big clearing with some faded trails heading to a creek, from there in follow the creek, once it ends you will need some trail finding skills and get ready to a steep and unclear hike
From the the Soldier Pass trail it is just about 0.5 mile but it is definitely not for everyone
The is an but totally worth the sweat, this was in the afternoon and would say that the morning light should be better

Better than a is a
is beautiful
This short requires a decent drive trough a dirty road, which a regular vehicle will be able to handle
The trail to the falls is about .5 mile long, so about a mile in and out
If you want to get to the base you will rope and skills and some to get back
Very little traffic in January, so you are mostly likely to have it to yourself this time of the year
always look up, we just realize the on the pictures

This is the definitely not a so but still an amazing hike
About 6 mile in and out you have a whole bunch of things to see on the same path
is the first formation, a kind of that dries out and just leave the behind with beautiful at the back
is a huge with massive collapsed in it
is the main attraction, I would say because there many of them in one formation or area
All in all, easy, flat and beautiful hike

is a super underrated in . The park is beautiful and super well maintained, great little hikes and the drive there is amazing itself.
The is out of this world, the is huge and gorgeous. You will have many different points of view in different little and I totally recommend you to do all of them!
