🚧 TRAFFIC ALERT: Route 7 Bridge Closure Over I-44 Begins July 13 🚧

If you travel through Exit 150, plan ahead. MoDOT has updated the schedule for the Route 7 bridge replacement over Interstate 44 here in Pulaski County.

Here’s what you need to know:

🛑 Starting July 13

* The Route 7 bridge over I-44 will close for a full bridge deck replacement.
* The bridge is expected to reopen December 1, 2026.
* Exit 150 ramps are expected to remain open during the main construction, but you will not be able to cross I-44 using the bridge.

Detours:
➡️ Northbound Route P to Route 7 and westbound I-44 traffic: Use eastbound I-44 to Exit 153.
⬅️ Southbound Route 7 to Route P and eastbound I-44 traffic: Use westbound I-44 to Exit 145.

⚠️ Overnight Lane & Ramp Closures
July 14 (7:00 PM) – July 15 (6:00 AM)

* Eastbound I-44 ramps at Exit 150 closed.
* Eastbound I-44 reduced to one lane.

July 15 (7:00 PM) – July 16 (6:00 AM)

* Westbound I-44 ramps at Exit 150 closed.
* Westbound I-44 reduced to one lane.

🚨 BE ON THE LOOKOUT – ARMED AND DANGEROUS 🚨

The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Amanda Marie Sherrill, a 41-year-old female who is wanted for questioning in connection with an earlier shooting incident in which two individuals were injured.

Amanda was last seen walking on Tampa Road toward St. Robert.

⚠️ CAUTION: Amanda Sherrill is believed to be armed and dangerous. Do NOT approach or attempt to contact her.

If you see Amanda Sherrill or have information regarding her whereabouts, immediately contact the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office at 573-774-6196, Extension 2, or call 911.

Please share this post to help law enforcement locate her safely. Your assistance could help prevent further violence and keep our community safe.

🚨 PUBLIC SAFETY ALERT – PLEASE SHARE 🚨

Residents of Pulaski County, especially in the Crocker area, are urged to be alert and report any suspicious activity involving individuals shooting fireworks from vehicles.

Over the weekend, a vehicle in the Crocker area was reportedly destroyed by fire after being struck by fireworks believed to have been discharged from a passing vehicle.

While fireworks can be a fun part of summer celebrations, using them recklessly or directing them toward homes, vehicles, livestock, people, or property is extremely dangerous and can quickly lead to serious injuries, fires, and significant property damage.

If you see or hear individuals shooting fireworks at anything other than a safe area intended for fireworks, please contact law enforcement immediately. Even small details such as vehicle descriptions, locations, times, or videos may help investigators.

This type of behavior is not harmless fun—it puts lives, homes, vehicles, and first responders at risk.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office at 573-774-6196, Ext. 2. Anonymous tips are welcome.

⚠️ PULASKI COUNTY SCAM ALERT ⚠️

Please take a moment to read this important warning shared by the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office.

Reports indicate that individuals are going door-to-door offering driveway paving, chip seal, asphalt work, and similar services at what appears to be a very low price. After completing poor-quality work, they often return demanding thousands—or even tens of thousands—of dollars more than the original quote. In many cases, they pressure homeowners into paying immediately.

One common warning sign is that they may ask for checks to be written to an individual instead of a legitimate business. Once the check is cashed, recovering the money can be extremely difficult.

Before hiring anyone for work on your property, be sure to research the company, ask for proof of insurance, check references, and get a written contract. Never feel pressured into making a decision on the spot.

Please help spread the word by sharing this post, especially with elderly family members, friends, and neighbors who may be more vulnerable to these types of scams.
