The Jon Stickley Trio practically just stepped out of the van, and then delivered this inspired rendition of the Tim O'Brien song "The High Road" at Spring Skunk Fest 2017. This began their afternoon set, of which there were two performances that day.
Also, there was a random kids parade thrown in for good measure, which puts a bow on it all.

During the filming of this project, I witnessed something unique. Something based on a centuries old art and craft. Something that runs counter to much of what our modern society has become. Something that embraces silence instead of the noise, patience instead of speed, timelessness instead of disposability. Compassion instead of selfishness and greed.
The narratives that Andy creates through his art and the process itself reflect a stillness and thoughtfulness. My hope is that this film will convey that well enough and give the viewer an opportunity to slow down and take a moment to enjoy something quiet for a change.
