One of our favorite things about calling Waynesville home is being surrounded by incredible local businesses. This past weekend, Chris and Megan took the “Little Jerks,” Grady and Cohen, to nearby KANINI'S...dining & catering for a family breakfast— just a half-mile from Waynesville Soda Jerks. 🧇☕️🍳

Kanini’s recently introduced breakfast to complement their already stellar lunch and dinner menu, and it’s quickly become one of our favorite local recommendations. Everything is made from scratch with fresh, authentic ingredients, and every bite is delicious.

The “Little Jerks” gave the chocolate chip waffles two enthusiastic thumbs up. 👍

Made with real strawberries from Haywood County and Franklin, NC, along with fresh rhubarb, this soda is bright, crisp, and wonderfully refreshing with just the right balance of sweet and tart. It’s the kind of bottle you find yourself reaching for after a day in the sun— or anytime you’re craving a little taste of summer.

It’s been a busy (and beautiful) summer behind the scenes here at Waynesville Soda Jerks. 🌞🫐🌿

For us, that means hundreds of gallons of berries, herbs, and citrus making their way through production, where they’re washed, weighed, juiced, and transformed into the handcrafted syrups and sodas we enjoy all year long.

So far this season, we’ve received:
🍓 200+ gallons of strawberries, grown in Canton and Franklin, NC Leatherwood Family Farms Deal Farms Fresh Produce
🫐 70+ gallons of Burke County, NC-grown blueberries
🍋 Fresh lemons & limes
🌿 Rosemary, basil, and more.

If you spot a quart bottle of syrup in these photos— that’s headed to one of our wholesale partners! We also produce service syrups for cafés, restaurants, and specialty drinks. Right now, Blue Ghost Outpost is featuring a drink special made with our Blackberry Syrup.

A few production updates while we’ve got you:
💚 Grapefruit Mint Soda is almost gone— we’re down to the final bottles in our gift shop cooler.
🫧 Since getting our bottling line back up and running, we’ve been steadily catching up on production. Right now, Blackberry Serrano and Concord Grape are our only out-of-stock flavors, with both headed back to the bottling line within the next 1–3 weeks.
