JR's Corner Access is open !

The wind died down just enough where visibility is ok and we feel it is safe. Please stop in the resort to get a map of our roads.

This is the worst lake access in the state, oh boy!

BUFFALO — Buffalo Fire was dispatched to a vehicle incident on Buffalo Lake at the east public water access near Sturgis Park.

Dispatch reported a white passenger vehicle about 200 yards from the access with a tire slightly broken through the ice. Nobody was in the vehicle at the time of call, and it was reported the owners had walked off the ice, and their location was unknown.

The vehicle owner was later reported back out there and wanted to attempt to push the vehicle off the ice. Buffalo Fire radioed that no one was in the water, the situation was not an emergency, and there was little they could do. Buffalo Fire was eventually cancelled by officers on scene.
