MFI Productions has been hard at work over the past couple of months, and we wanted to highlight a project we did at when they first opened back in Spring of 2021. The transformation of the existing structure included updating all of their rooms with entirely new audio and video infrastructure to help support their future events and operations. The central audio rack allows for seamless whole building audio distribution utilizing ’s Dante networked audio over IP, alongside new power amps, digital signal processors, and speakers. The Vineyard room saw the addition of a wireless mic package as well as a maintenance free laser projector. In the private dining room and bar space are Sharp displays for group presentations / photo loops and bar-top viewing, respectively. The Harvest room saw the addition of another Shure wireless mic package, two 80” Sharp 4K displays, as well as a PTZOptics camera for high definition closeups of work during her Cooking with Wine series. Finally, in the board room we installed a stunning 85” Crystal UHD 4K display with video conferencing bar for all their future meetings. This is just a small taste of the work that we brought to and now, two years later, they have grown even bigger with the addition of a new winery with Tasting Room & Event Terrace. They continue to be one of many clients that we collaborate with regularly, and we’re extremely happy to assist them and their clients whenever possible. We hope to see you there! If you haven't been to the Event Space at The Factory on Willow or held an event there, definitely check it out! With over 5,000 square feet and seating for 180 at rounds, it is becoming quite popular with a number of our clients as an great alternative to the standard hotel ballroom. In a show of support with over 1,500 other venues across North America, Niagara Falls will be illuminated in red today, September 1, 2020 in appreciation of the live events industry which has been devastated by the impacts of COVID-19.
The illumination is part of The Red Alert Day of Action, which seeks to draw attention to the 12 million people that work in the live events industry who are currently unemployed due to the pandemic.
The Falls will be illuminated in red for 15 minutes at each half hour mark, beginning at 8:30 p.m.
A second illumination will also take place on September 22, 2020.

Tonight in Concord, and across the country, arts organizations and supporters will be going RED and lighting up the night to bring attention to the devastating impact of COVID-19 on the live performance industry.
You can make a difference by taking five minutes to visit WeMakeEvents.org and fill out an easy form that contacts your members of Congress and urges them to pass the RESTART Act (which offers economic relief to the industry) and extend PUA (Pandemic Unemployment Act).
Covid-19 has brought North America’s live event industry to a complete halt. One of the first industries to completely shut down, we will also be one of the last to return. Millions of employees. Hundreds of thousands of businesses. A combined economic impact of $300+ billion. This likely includes you or someone you know. Without government assistance, the live events industry will collapse.

With Zoom Meetings all the buzz these days, Microsoft Teams quietly surpassed the recent growth of Zoom by over 200% and overall Skype for Business usage! Teams is a unified communication and collaboration platform that combines persistent workplace chat, video meetings, file storage, and application integration. Simply Chat, Call, Meet, and Collaborate. Microsoft recently added interoperability between Teams and Skype for full cross-platform collaboration.
Microsoft Teams use grew 894%, while Zoom's grew 677%, between Feb. 17 to June 14, according to data from Aternity.

Release of COVID-19 Reopening Guidelines for Performance Venues.
Helicopter footage from WBZ | CBS Boston of the North Andover, Massachusetts Town Meeting last night that we provided Sound, Video, and Stage for. Socially distant setup on the North Andover High School football field and beyond.
In the 20+ years we have been doing their town meetings, this is definitely the most unique, but our NEXO systems made it easy.
North Andover held its annual town meeting Tuesday evening on the high school football field.

Our NEXO GeoS12, ID24, & P12's, all powered by NXAmp4x4's provided clear and intelligable audio to the high school's football field and auxilary areas, despite the traffic noise from adjacent Route 125 and the constant aircraft from Lawrence Municipal Airport that is less than a mile away.
Proud to have helped the town approve their FY20/21 budget as well as clear the way for a major investment into the town by Amazon.com.
The meeting featured socially distant seating using Town Moderator Mark DiSalvo's Safe Meeting tool, one-way aisles and walkways, a mask requirement, other CDC recommended protocols, plus a 60' wide stage for the town committees.

There was food, fun, music, humor and a wonderful sense of community at the 2021 Best of NH Party, held on Saturday, August 21 at Canterbury Shaker Village. We helped raise money and awareness for the New Hampshire Food Bank and we couldn't have done it without all of YOU! It is a privilege to play a part in the restoration of the beautiful and historic Colonial Theatre in Laconia NH. The theatre originally opened in 1914, closed in 2002, and is scheduled to reopen in 2021 once the extensive renovations are complete. The restoration was led by The City of Laconia in partnership with Belknap Economic Development Council.
Port Lighting provided the dimming and control system, stage curtains, audio, and rigging including 13 - Vortek automated line sets.
