Weatherford’s Keon Lackey placed in the Top-10 this afternoon at the OSSAA Class 4A Regional in Waurika.

Lackey finished the 3-mile course in 16:59.92, taking 8th place. The Weatherford boys finished 6th as a team.

The Lady Eagles took 5th as a team. Cora Hamons was the top-placer for Weatherford, finishing the 2-mile course in 13:05.25 for 12th.

Thomas-Fay-Custer’s Brayden Cowan took first place at the OSSAA Regional A meet in Waurika this morning. The senior completed the 3-mile course in 17:12.06, nearly 20 seconds ahead of the second-place finisher.

The Terriers’ boys’ team took third overall, while Thomas-Fay-Custer’s girls’ team finished first overall at the meet. Lillie Hightower was the top-placer for the Lady Terriers, taking 7th.

SWOSU wins 31-6 at Southern Nazarene to improve to 3-4 on the season.

The Bulldogs were led by Red Martel’s 147 yards on 18 carries. Braxton Etheridge rushed for 2 TDs and MJ Rivers added two through the air for SWOSU.

Bulldogs will play East Central next Saturday at 2 p.m. for homecoming.

Thomas-Fay-Custer improves to 7-0 after defeating Texhoma (4-3) 41-6 in Thomas.

Tye Littlebird threw four TD passes, three to Landon Wald and one to Tristan Dobbins. Warren Cometsevah and Dobbins both logged rushing TDs for the Terriers.

T-F-C will travel to SW Covenant (4-2 entering tonight) next Friday.

Thomas-Fay-Custer leads 41-6 against Texhoma in Thomas with around 10 minutes to play in regulation.

The Terriers took a 34-0 lead into the half and added a TD on a 20-yard pass from Tye Littlebird to Landon Wald in the third quarter.

Thomas-Fay-Custer (6-0) is set to kickoff shortly against Texhoma (4-2) in Thomas.

T-F-C flattened Apache (0-7) 48-3 last week. Through their first six games of the season, the Terriers have outscored their opponents 231-37.
