Can’t pass up an invite to a PGA Tournament in my backyard 🏌🏾‍♂️🥂

Got invited to the Charles Schwab Challenge this weekend in my hometown—shoutout to Eddie at Vaquero Golf Club for the invite 🤝
Even in that Texas heat and humidity, it was a whole vibe. Slid through the Schwab Performance Center—long putt contests, simulators of Colonial’s toughest holes, and yeah… walked out with some free Pro V1s 👀
It’s a different level watching PGA Tour pros manage a course you’ve actually played. Makes you realize—precision, discipline, and even they miss shots too.
Caught Ricky Castillo finishing on 18 with a smooth par. Dude’s a hooper 💯
Nothing like golf at Colonial. Already looking forward to getting back out there this summer.

Pulled up to Rockwood Park Golf Course for what started as a photoshoot for 🪻⛳️… and turned into one of those rounds you don’t forget 🏌🏾‍♂️🥂

The course was looking pure, greens rolling smooth even after the rain, and the city views on the front 9? Unreal.
Lowkey feels like a private club when you catch it like this. We got some crazy content out here… especially on those par 3s. Hole 5 with the water and Fort Worth skyline in the background is different 🔥
Not gonna lie though… hole 4 still got my number 😅
If you’re in 📍 Fort Worth or anywhere in DFW and looking for a public golf course with character, views, easy going and a solid layout… Rockwood needs to be on your list. Plus they’ve got a free par 3 course to really lock in your short game.
Shoutout to everyone rocking with FOUR already… y’all almost cleared us out on the first drop 🤝

“Shrink the game”…⛳️ but what do you really mean by that?

Let’s be real. That phrase can be interpreted a lot of ways, but the ones saying it… especially behind a screen… know exactly what they’re trying to say. And that mindset? It’s outdated.👊

Golf is one of the greatest sports in the world. It teaches patience, discipline, focus, and life itself. Once you truly understand the game, it becomes an ahh hah moment… not just for golf, but for how you approach everything.
This game isn’t something to gatekeep. It’s something to grow.
I’m excited to experience this journey with my kids and continue building a community with people who genuinely love the game and what it stands for.
We’re not shrinking anything over here… we’re expanding the culture, the access and the impact. 🏌🏾‍♂️🥂

Split Rail Golf Club is making a comeback and you might want to get out here before everyone else catches on 👀 🚂
With Troon now managing the course you can already see the difference in course conditions and overall experience. This par 72 layout 6600 yds from the blue tees gives you a solid test without beating you up and the par 3s bring some fun shot making into play.
It is not perfect yet. A couple greens still need some love and hole 10 fairway was a little rough but the potential is obvious. Greens are rolling smooth at a medium pace and the course is shaping up to be one of the better public options in the DFW.
For 55 to 65 dollars this is a course you need to add to your rotation now!

Y’all lowkey wrote this course off earlier this year… but Whitestone Golf Club is back 🏌🏾‍♂️🥂

Spent Memorial Day out at in Benbrook, Texas 🇺🇸⛳️ and even with the holiday traffic, the pace of play was still solid.

This 6,774 yard par 72 is known for having some of the fastest greens in DFW, and while they’re not quite back to that speed yet, they’re rolling true and getting there. You can tell they’ve put in work most of the greens are growing in nice after the earlier struggles this year.

Fairways were straight carpet, tee boxes were dialed, and overall the course is trending back in the right direction. A few spots on the back 9 still need time, but Hole 10 reminded me real quick what Whitestone is known for.

Green fee runs about $70, or $41 for twilight, and they even offer free golf for juniors (with an adult) Monday through Thursday after 2pm — which is a huge win for growing the game.

A proper country club experience from start to finish but I still have nightmares of hole 6 🏌🏾‍♂️🥂
From the first tee, you can feel the difference — this isn’t a course you overpower, it’s one you have to respect. Tight fairways, demanding shot shaping, and bentgrass greens rolling as pure as it gets… every shot matters out here.
The par 3s were easily my favorite part. All sitting in that perfect 135–150 yard range with beautiful architecture. I birdied two of them today 🐦 both inches from my first hole in one… still thinking about it.
Fairways were flawless, conditions were elite, and the overall energy matched exactly what you expect from a top-tier country club. You can tell the members take real pride in this place.
This is Dallas Fort Worth golf at a high level.
