🔥 What a finish to Originator Connect 2026!

From the moment we kicked things off on August 13, the energy kept building—and the final day delivered in a BIG way.

🎤 Austin Niemiec, Chief Revenue Officer at Rocket Pro, took the Rocket Pro Main Stage for Margin Matters: How to Grow Volume with Tech, sharing how brokers can harness technology, streamline operations, and scale while keeping the client experience front and center.

💡 Across the stages, originators walked away with fresh ideas, actionable strategies, and new ways to grow.

What an incredible first full day at Originator Connect! 🎤🏠🚀

From a packed Non-QM Summit to standout presentations from Mike Kortas, James Jin, and John Wise, the day was filled with ideas and strategies for what’s next in mortgage—from Non-QM and investor lending to AI, home equity, construction financing, and business growth.

Before the keynote, HomeLight Home Loans presented $10,000 to Homes For Our Troops, supporting its mission to build specially adapted homes for severely injured post-9/11 Veterans. This year, the Originator Connect community is helping support Navy veteran Adrian Walker and his family right here in Las Vegas.

Then Josh Altman - The Altman Brothers took the stage, sharing lessons from his journey from mortgage broker to building a multi-billion-dollar real estate business.

We capped it all off at POP & LOCK, bringing the industry together for a night of pop art, music, networking, and unmistakable Vegas energy.

Most importantly, connections were made, relationships were renewed, and conversations started that will continue long after the event.

🔥 “Ready. Fire. Aim.”

That was one of the messages Josh Altman brought to the stage at Originator Connect — and it hit home with a room full of mortgage professionals.

Before Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles, Josh got his start in the mortgage business.

He shared stories about how he and his brother took chances, started flipping houses (and even a castle) and built their real estate careers long before the cameras showed up.

His message to the audience? Don’t be afraid to put yourself out there and be seen.

You won’t always have every detail figured out. You won’t always know exactly where an opportunity will lead.

Sometimes you have to take action first and adjust along the way.

Ready. Fire. Aim.

For an audience of originators who know a thing or two about taking chances, building relationships, and creating their own opportunities, it was a message that resonated.
