The tie breaker for the three city council members in Kamrar in the November 4th city council election was decided by the Hamilton County Supervisors at a special meeting Wednesday afternoon. There was a three-way tie between Dustin Flatebo, Gunther Range and Matthew Wallen. The three received 11 votes separately from the voters of Kamrar causing the tie election. At their meeting back on Monday evening, the South Hamilton Community School Board met with three members of the FFA program to discuss their recent trip to Indianapolis for the group's convention. The board from its FFA instructor Carlton Ness on the South Hamilton FFA Chapter receiving the National 2 Star rating for its activities during last academic year. A cooperative agreement with Northwestern College was accepted by the board for teacher education candidates for practicum, field experience, student teaching or internship at South Hamilton....

A clear sky greets north central Iowans on this early Wednesday morning at 3:40 a.m. with 36 degrees on Radio Hill in Webster City. We understand there was quite the light show in the area last night. Sunny and dry conditions will be the rule for this afternoon with highs in the mid 50s forecast.. Cloudy weather for this coming night with lows in the lower 30s. Thursday will bring in more sunshine to our area with a high in the upper 50s. The dry weather pattern continues through the first half of the weekend with highs in the mid 60s. Sunday will be in the lower 50s. There is a chance of rain come Monday.
