Learn a little more about our Mayor, Tim Coe!

Meet 4-H Alumni and Mayor of Wedowee, Mr. Tim Coe.
Mr. Coe has spent his whole life right here in Wedowee, AL. He has been in the cattle industry since he was a child, and spent 25 years in the poultry industry. Mr. Coe has also been the mayor of Wedowee for 33 years.

Mr. Coe says, "My fondest memories of 4-H are showing cattle and being on the state-winning livestock judging team. 4-H impacted all of my years growing up from 4th grade through graduation. 4-H was a major influence in my life."

Coe said, " Tom Burnside was my 4-H agent. He was much more than a 4-H agent; he was like a second daddy to me as I was growing up, and he became a close friend after I was grown. I would not have had the success that I have had in my life without the help of Tom Burnside."

If Mr. Coe could give one piece of advice to our youth, it would be, "When you find something you love, give it all you've got."
