Dear Ticketholders & Eventgoers,
We have made the difficult decision to cancel Star Camp Shasta (July 10–12, 2026). This decision is based on an unusually warm and dry second half of winter, which has created an elevated fire weather risk predicted for June onwards.
As many of you know, our permit is subject to final approval based on local fire conditions. Normally, we take a calculated risk if conditions are manageable, but this year the data is clear: the potential fire risk and the likelihood of a last-minute permit denial are simply too high to move forward.
We know this is not the news you wanted to hear. However, we feel that canceling now before further travel expenditures are made is the best solution, so you can make other summer plans.
We appreciate your ongoing support, and your safety is always our paramount concern. While this is extremely disappointing, we believe this outcome is far better than a last-minute cancellation while people are already at the venue or en-route.
Refund Information:
You will be refunded 100% automatically; you do not need to take any action.
We will start processing refunds today, and you should see the funds in your account within a week.
