In addition to being a superb athlete, Billie Jean King has done tremendous things to help people around the world, especially women. Her autobiography, "All In," is a great read. On September 19, her co-author, Johnette Howard, will be the guest on the New York Times Readalong from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Eastern time on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube. Johnette will talk about her own career as a sports journalist and author. And she'll talk about the experience of writing the book with BJK. Definitely worth watchging. RUN! — do not walk — to your favorite bookstore to get Billie Jean King's new autobiography, "All In." I have always been a fan of Billie Jean King, and that went up at least a thousand-fold in 1992 when she agreed to be a featured speaker at the convention of the then-unknown Association for Women in Sports Media. BJK has been a voice for equality and equity. She absolutely is a woman who has changed the world.

AND I'm thrilled to say that my friend Johnette Howard, a truly fabulous journalist and writer, is co-author of the book. So what you'll be getting is the story of a remarkable woman told in a beautiful way. (It's also available on Audible.)
