You all post such beautiful views and I have this less than lovely backyard. I've hesitated posting it. But, I realized that I don't see ugly. I see jokes about learning to ice skate... going fishing... taking a swim, NERF wars, baseball drills, playing catch, co****le games, badminton, soccer balls and mini rockets. I see an amazing neighbor always tossing the NERF bullets and baseballs back over the fence. I see countless conversations about the moon peeking past that enormous pine tree. And to the right, I see the cutest dogs you'll ever meet constantly acting like they didn't get their daily treat. This is home. đź’ś

Hi everyone! This is my view from our lanai in Sarasota, Florida USA. We recently bumped out this little area on our lanai and I love it. It’s the perfect place to have a glass of w**e and watch the sun set over the lake…or coffee in the morning!!

As I sit writing, I see this view at my home in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin- USA. . It is like going back in time. The farmers leave their produce and eggs by the road for sale on the honor system. They have a small box for you to put the money for their goods. I am able to walk into town and to the lake. Perfect location. Lake Geneva is beginning to prepare for the winter, it gets super cold here and is absolutely stunning when it snows. My pups love it here as well, everyone is so dog friendly. There is a sign in one of the stores, "Dogs always welcome. Husbands questionable?" Made me giggle.

My husband and I and my yorkie, named Macy live in a small town called Hainesport, NewJersey!! I have a huge back yard with some fruit trees that the deer like to come and feed on. I love seeing all of your photos from around the world. I feel like I’m traveling, without leaving the confines of our apartment. We live on the third floor and have an amazing view of the Sea of Galilee. You can see Tiberius in the background. I spend a lot of time sitting in our hammock swing, and gardening. I try to grow our greens and herbs. Please tell me where you’re from. Stay safe and healthy! PS tonight we start the new Jewish month of Iyar. The Hebrew initials of the month stand for I am G-d your healer. May everyone who needs it be healed in this month.

Sitting on my porch swing looking down my front porch in Northport, Alabama USA. I have lived here almost 39 years. My husband and I raised our three sons here, and we made so many memories on these four acres. My husband passed away from pancreatic cancer seven years ago, and our retirement years did not go as we had planned, but I still have our home and my beautiful sanctuary on my wrap-around porch to remember the many sweet memories we made here. Sending love and God’s blessings from my home to yours!!❤️

My kitchen window in Rye NH USA. The little outbuilding on the left is a chicken coop my best friend of 41 years built me. He’s a master carpenter. It’s a miniature replica of my house. We’re in the middle of a Nor’easter, a storm unique to New England that’s sort of like a hurricane. I'm originally from Florida, where my heart remains, so the potted plants are pineapple and Key Lime. Those winter indoors in my office. In February every year, I tap the sugar maples in the background and make maple syrup in my kitchen. My favorite backyard sounds are the low rhythmic hum of a piston whistle in the fog from nearby Rye Harbor, and the honks of a squadron of migrating Canada Geese. My beloved late sister-in-law's ashes are in my peony garden right behind the two Adirondack chairs. Just out of view on the right is the raspberry garden I planted when my mother passed 10 years ago. If I love you, you get a garden in your memory when you pass.
