Cattle, family and the beef industry has shaped every chapter of our Episode 17 guest’s story!
Brandi Richards is a third-generation cattlewoman; she and her husband own and manage Diamond Cattle Feeders, a 20,000-head feed yard in Hereford, Texas. But her work in agriculture extends far beyond the feed yard. Since 1992, she has worked in veterinary product sales, providing cattle producers across the Texas Panhandle with vaccines, antibiotics and dewormers.
Brandi retired in 2025 and joined the feedlot full time. Outside of work, family is at the center of her life. She and her husband are raising two daughters, Madalyn and Lucy, who both compete in rodeo.
She has also dedicated her time to leadership and advocacy, including five years serving on the Texas Beef Council as a representative of the Texas Cattle Feeders Association. In this episode, we talk about her journey as a cattlewoman, business owner, mother and industry leader, and the importance of getting involved in agriculture.
