If you’re looking for a great pool for littles, The Beede Center in Concord, MA is top of the list. You can purchase a day pass ($35 for 2 people, $50 up to 5 people) and use the entire facility. It is operated by the town rec department, but you do not have to be a resident to buy a day pass.
🏊♀️ The shallow wading pool has water sprinklers and a slide. Pro tip: if no kids are playing, the sprinklers get turned off, but just ask a lifeguard to turn them on if you want them)
🏊♀️ Right next to the wading pool is the therapy pool which is kept warmer than a standard pool and is a great place to watch the kids from while splash around.
🏊♀️ Kids are also welcome in the therapy pool, but be aware that it also gets used for lessons and water therapy, so it’s sometimes partially blocked off.
🏊♀️ You can also swim in the open section of the larger lap pool, which starts at 4 ft deep, or swim some laps in the lanes.
🏊♀️ There is also a diving well with 3 different height diving boards
