The 3 new piggies got their tags removed! We don't keep our pigs tagged. It doesn't hurt them to keep them on we just prefer they don't. #7, #16 and #18 are now just Oink, Boots and Maker🐷🙂

Emma was also excited to be petting the pigs!

These are a slightly different mix than we've done in the past. These three are a mix of Berkshire, Tamworth and Large Black. I can already tell these are gonna be some good size pigs!! 🐖

It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of our piglet Chance. 💔

I got a couple bites of food in him this morning and could tell he was really struggling to breath. Shortly after, while I sat with him, he took his last breath.

I'm frustrated more than anything. We tried. The lack of access to antibiotics for small farms like us is not okay. The closest vet is an hour away in NH so they can't come to our farm. This means we would need to transport and stress our animals more. Something needs to change.

Thankful for other farms sharing their resources so we could give it our best effort.. it just wasn't enough.

Rest in peace Chance. Your time on our farm was short but I promise we won't ever forget you.

These two are Scally & Wag. The "scallywag" duo. Similar to Trouble these two are super mischievous as well!
Did I mention that we have our hands full with these piggies!? 😂

Scally was specially named after Pat Scally!

Someday we'll stop naming pigs after family members but today is not that day🤣

Emma loves the piggies and they're finally getting comfortable with her!
Nothing is better than watching my daughter with these animals. I love that we're able to give her this life ❤️
