𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐜𝐨 & 𝐌𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐨 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐎𝐧 𝐄𝐥𝐚𝐦 𝐑𝐝. 𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐓𝐨 𝐓𝐨𝐰𝐧𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬
Metro Development Group says it has come to an agreement with Pasco County on making a current construction entrance to a new townhome community in Epperson off Elam Rd. a regular, permanent entrance and exit, which hopefully will give the residents of Epperson II on and around Abby Brooks Cir. a little relief. "We actually received an email from our Engineering firm that the County intends to approve our plans," says Metro VP of Marketing & Communications Lisa Gibbings. "Whilst this doesn’t act as a 'final approval,' we are hopeful that we will receive final approval in the coming days. We are working with our Engineering firm along with the Department of Planning and Development at the County to get this final approval as soon as possible. For the rest of the story, click below.

Nine judges selected by our editor have now completed two rounds of judging in Wesley Chapel's first-ever Fried Chicken Contest! We're aware that some of you will likely disagree with the results — especially since none of the chicken tenders from the 12 fried chicken restaurants were served hot and fresh at each restaurant and no dipping sauces were allowed — but we think a lot of you will agree with the four finalists our judges picked in these blind taste tests for Favorite Spicy and four finalists for Favorite Mild fried chicken in our area. If you're like me, you'd rather not drink coffee than visit a Starbucks, so I'm always excited to try any new coffee place that opens in our area, including Haraz Coffee House, which posted a sign announcing that it is opening in the Publix-anchored Shoppes at New Tampa plaza on Bruce B.
