🏡 SOLD IN FAIRFIELD! 🔑
Some closings are smooth.
This was not one of them. 😅
This transaction threw just about everything it could at us—title issues, appraisal issues, financing problems, delays, and plenty of moments when it felt like something else couldn’t possibly go wrong...and then it did.
But last Wednesday, WE CLOSED! 🎉
And I couldn’t be happier for my clients.
Transactions like this are exactly why I believe who you have representing you matters.
A real estate agent’s job isn’t just to open doors, write an offer, and show up at closing. When problems happen—and sometimes they absolutely do—you need someone who will advocate for you, communicate with everyone involved, find solutions, keep things moving, and fight to get you to the closing table.
This transaction also reinforced something I tell buyers often: who you choose for financing matters, too.
My clients chose to finance through a traditional bank, and unfortunately, there were several points in this transaction where the ball was dropped and it created unnecessary problems and delays.
There can be a BIG advantage to working with a mortgage broker instead of going directly through a bank. A good mortgage broker can shop multiple loan products, help troubleshoot problems, and often provide a much more hands-on experience throughout the transaction. They even usually answer their phones outsider of banker hours!
The cheapest rate or the bank you’ve used for years isn’t always the best choice when you’re buying a home.
Thankfully, we kept pushing, kept solving problems, and got this one across the finish line.
Congratulations to my buyers on their new home in Fairfield! 🖤🏡
Buying or selling a home?
You don't just need someone who can handle the transaction when everything goes right.
You need someone who knows what to do when it doesn’t.
