Back to school time has come upon us a little too quickly (and not fast enough at the same time) this year!

I realized today that I only had TWO days before school starts for my kids.. How did we get here?
Am I sick of them fighting all day, every day this summer? Yes. Am I tired of them eating me out of the house? Also yes. Am I tired of hearing, "I'm bored!" knowing full well they have a million things they could do? Of course! But am I ready for Back to school? Absolutely NOT!

Today I realized I hadn't quite finished reviewing the online school forms, hadn't gotten schedules together to navigate the craziness to come, I hadn't figured out dinner and lunch menus yet, my house isn't clean enough yet. The list could go on. On the plus side, we have gone back to school clothes and supply shopping because what pre-teen and teenage girl would let their mother forget that?!

I say all that because I know I'm not the only one in my situation. Back to school time is crazy for parents! I came across a survey from Life360 earlier today and thought I would share the results along with my story.

57% said they feel like fitting in all their activities is a challenge
54% struggle to keep track of every detail of their family's schedule
68% of parents feel burdened by the number of tasks they need to complete
76% say they check the children's schedules multiple times a day to make sure everyone is on the same page
