A Bowling alley in a church? Yup, there sure is!

We were so excited when we discovered this little gem down a very dark hallway. It's very common to find bowling alleys in the basements of churches in the Midwest. They we're places of social gatherings for the congregation.

There are two sides to every coin- love hate, good evil, renewal destruction, Jesus and the devil.

I was so enamored with this Jesus and the crown of thorns mural that I almost completely missed this gorgeous Devil mural behind the altar! Literally the backside of this wall(coin)

Art is everywhere, creativity is everywhere, beauty is everywhere, just get out and try to find any little bit of it, I promise you won't regret it.

Why don't we give out locations? This is why... this was a bowling alley. We had plans to come explore this place as it was standing yesterday. We were 10min away from it when we started Google-ing where we were going to park. Only to find several articles posted that it burnt down last night.
