🚧 ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE – STORM DRAIN REPLACEMENT 🚧

The West Blocton Water Department will be performing essential infrastructure work to replace a storm drain on Rosa Park Ln.

🔒 Road Closure Dates: 9/4/25- 9/5/25
📍 Location: Small portion of Rosa Park Lane between Magnolia and Peachtree as referenced below

This work is part of our ongoing efforts to improve drainage and prevent future flooding in the area. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this temporary inconvenience.

The West Blocton Town Hall will be closed on Monday, September 1st in observance of Labor Day.

Leak is repaired and water restored.

Attention Customers: Guys are out repairing a Leak on Frog Level and Kornegay Rd. Service may be interrupted. Sorry for the inconvenience!!!!

Cutoffs for Non Payment will be Sept 4th 2025. Anyone with a balance over 30 days past due will be disconnected. If you have any questions please call the office 205-938-7622

Update: 8/21 4pm they have the lines repaired and are turning the water back on. Please bare with them as it will take a little time to fill all those lines back up and get the air out. Thank you all for your patience as these guys have been out all night and day.

Update: 8/21 3pm The guys are still out working and have been out all night and day. Just when they got it fixed and went to turn water back on they found another section of main that had been hit. They are working now to get that section replaced and will have water restored as soon as they can. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Attention Vernontown customers. We have been made aware of leak in this area due to Lighting hitting a main. We have a crew in route now to get it repaired.

Cutoffs for Non-Payment will be Tuesday Aug 5th. Any balance that is over 30 days will be disconnected. Please calm the office at 205-938-7622 with any questions

Disconnects for Non-Payment will take place on Thursday July 10th . Anyone that has a balance 30 days past due is subject to disconnect. If you need to make a payment, you may do so by phone at 205-938-7622.
