okay hawties… this hawty is going back to school this summer 🤓

here’s the backstory:
i was in a VeeFriends group chat when someone dropped a link about a SheFi scholarship. SheFi stands for She Finance (more on that later).

something about it made me pause.
i felt excited.
nervous, even… but in a good way.
questions rushed in:
will i understand it?
will i fall behind?
can this somehow tie into the hawt tomboy brand?
that was my cue to apply. i mean—why not? nothing to lose.

welllll… turns out i won the full scholarship!! 🤩🤩 i start in mid-july. 💫💫 (btw this is the first scholarship i’ve ever won… Sallie Mae doesn’t count). lol

SheFi is an educational, community-driven platform built to empower women and nonbinary individuals to learn about decentralized finance (DeFi), Web3, and blockchain tech.

it was founded by Maggie Love ( ) to help close the gender gap in this space and make the content ACCESSIBLE, EMPOWERING, and ACTIONABLE.

SheFi isn’t just about investing.
it’s about *understanding* the tech, participating in the ecosystem, and “building real confidence through competence”(something I heard Russ say in an interview).

i’ll be documenting my journey through SheFi—so if Web3, blockchain, or crypto sparks your curiosity, stay close. i got you. my promise to you: i’ll make the content digestible.

am i a PSA collectibles girly now?!

but in all seriousness, i didn’t know anyone in this space, nor was it something that popped up on my feed. like yeah… i’ve been around sports cards (and pogs lol) but definitely wouldn’t consider myself to be a maxi in the hobby. alllllthough i’ve become curious about it… yep, there goes that word again.

i’ve been learning more about it. it makes sense that the hobby re-gained popularity during COVID and has maintained momentum ever since. people enjoy the nostalgia it brings. people enjoy the community component. it reminds people of a simpler time while also being extremely innovative.

it’s taught me a lot, especially in terms of value and how desire is measured. how it’s the collectors who drive the value.

Hey Hawties, how’s life treating you?

Life has been life-ing lately, and yesterday was rough. It’s easy to feel defeated when your energy is zapped, and your mind starts playing tricks on you.

I’m big on alignment, so it’s natural for me to want to have things perfectly align before I can allow myself to create. Truth is, there’s no right or wrong— creativity is just play and waiting on “perfect” only drains the fun.
